My grandmother lived till 90s and lived healthy till her last days .she used to eat everything with zero knowledge of diets but everything in her life - eating as well as other aspects of life- was in moderation and truly minimalism .I had never seen her I’ll or had any Medical issues ever.

The body is smart. If we would listen to it when it comes to eating instead of just our thoughts.

Mindfulness, taste, smell, texture of the food a.k.a. being present when eating. Intuitive, recognizing the satiety signal when we are satisfied. Mindfulness and Intuition are "Partners in crime". So to speak.

Very useful video, thank you so much for sharing this knowledge. Lovely to see such an inclusive path that knows about both emotional overeating and diet culture. Blessings and clarity for all!

My doctor just recommended this to me - I’m just not sure if I can do this - i quit dieting last year and immediately gained 35 lbs after being keto for two years - my brain tells me to choose cookies for breakfast

Intuitive eating only works if you understand WHY you are turning to food so much.. I absolutely love your book 50 ways to soothe yourself. Intuitive eating is not for everyone because in the ie world they push you to just eat the food and you will know you had enough. I had to look at why...ways I eating...ie world not common

This is an interesting perspective, I read the book intuitive eating while in my dietetics program(it was assigned reading). I like the idea of intuitive eating, admittedly I haven’t implemented it yet. It was helpful to learn what type of eater I am.
