Tools described *SWAP* S is for SAY really clearly what your feeling W is for WAIT and give yourself a pause before eating A is for ADDRESS the feelings and not the food P is for PERSUE another activity in its place *5 - 5s activity* (for each emotion you struggle with) 5 people you can call 5 ways you can relax 5 places you can go to calm down 5 things you can say to yourself when you’re feeling stressed 5 ways you can distract yourself

It's interesting how she mentioned Oranges being able to lift up your mood, because I used to take inositol as a supplement for severe depression, and read later that inositol is found in very high amounts in oranges. And it's no wonder oranges ripen in the winter, when more people feel the blues. Mother nature/ God did not make a mistake.

No doctor would be adequately trained to deal with an eating disorder. That’s what this is, a coping mechanism, a distorted way of interacting with food.

She is reinforcing our need to be alert to and aware of your BLAST'd emotions: Bored or Burnt out; Lonley; Angry, Apathetic or Afraid; Stressed, Tired or Thirsty

It doesn't help that food companies add extremely addictive food additives like MSG, Aspartame, other artificial sweeteners, and High Fructose Corn Syrup, to make people eat more and more of those foods/drinks. 😟

I was rewarded with food (pop , chips, pizza. ) through being sexually molested as a child , I struggled with weight gain for over 50 years ,, un till being introduced to pure therapeutic fermented ketones .. has been a life health changer ..I'd be happy to share how I use this product to fuel my brain and put my body into ketosis in under an hour, especially when I don't have to diet in order to lose fat .. by the way I am down 106 pounds in 8 months without dieting.. I feel different now about food.. I am also very much happier with more energy..

SWAP S > say what are you feeling/ hungry or not W > wait and see if you are hungry or not A > address the feeling/ are you hungry or are you anxious P > pursue another activity

Why wont anyone address WHY my 120 lb friend can eat twice as many calories and carbs as i do yet im fat and shes trying to gain weight and we are BOTH emotional eaters.. a lot of this issue is the bodys response to processing food. Nothing here is new or eye opening.

Has to do with your metabolism controlled by the thyroid you have hypothyroidism which means a slow sluggish thyroid meaning a slow sluggish metabolism meaning you will gain weight your friend has the opposite hyper thyroidism

Or a healthy thyroid in general where her metabolism functions optimally

Also adrenal glands can come into play as well with weight gain and combo or both thyroid and adrenal gland issues
