If you want to build bridges with Muslims, use kind words or invite Muslim scholars to speak. What bridge would you like to build, if information about Islam is biased and has negative tendencies that you pass on to people in the church. Hopefully in the future you will be wiser, may God forgive all our mistakes

I would invite you to look at our Podcast, we have done exactly what you suggested. I have Muslim Sheikh's and Imam's representing Islam un-edited in their own words. While I disagree with Islam, I am trying to build a nuanced and accurate picture of the Muslim world and have worked hard to source everything accurately. Is there anything I said that you think is a mis-representation? Are there any words I used that you thought were unkind?

WOW You are mixing up cultural muslims and practising muslims. 1. There are so many scholars in Islam that we can't even count. We are only supposed to listen to the ones who follow the Quran and Hadith. If someone says some thing is haram or halal without taking it from the Quran or Hadith we are not supposed to blindly follow. True Scholars can't make random rules without the Quran or Hadith. 2. The Bible is corrupt because they're are contradictions in it and that is a FACT! How old was Ahaziah when he began to rule over Jerusalem? (a) Twenty-two (2 Kings 8:26) (b) Forty-two (2 Chronicles 22:2) How old was Jehoiachin when he became king of Jerusalem? (a) Eighteen (2 Kings 24:8) (b) Eight (2 Chronicles 36:9) How long did he rule over Jerusalem? (a) Three months (2 Kings 24:8) (b) Three months and ten days (2 Chronicles 36:9) THERE ARE MANY MORE! I can't address everything in this video is just this comment.

Hey, I appreciate you listening and engaging with this content. 1) My argument here is that you're framework of understanding God, is inherently built on a lot of people, whether those people are friends and family, or people like Ibn Kathir and other careful Islamic scholars, who are also dependent on other men like Ibn Hisham and Ibn Ishaq to understand the meanings of the Quran and Hadith. You say" We are only supposed to listen to the ones who follow the Quran and Hadith" which, I think is admirable, but unless you yourself have a holistic knowledge of the Hadith, you are reliant on Scholars to tell you who the Scholars who are following the Hadith are. 2) You are further demonstrating my point here, you clearly didn't find this from studying Kings and Chronicles on your own, but you have been fed this information. If you actually take the time to study though Kings and Chronicles, you'd be able to see that 2 Chronicles 22:2, and 2 Chronicles is simply a manuscript variance that isn't present in all the ancient manuscripts, but shows up in older English translations. All ancient texts have textual variations and typo's (Including the Qur'an FYI) It doesn't mean that the text is lost, it means we have a lot of data. In other ancient manuscripts it matched the numbering in Kings. And do you honestly believe that Three months vs Three months and ten days is an actual contradiction?

@@TheAlMaidahInitiative Well of course scholars are experts in the Quran and Sunnah. My question to you is who is the father of Joseph in the bible? The Quran has no contradictions in it, NO TYPO'S. Contradictions are two verses that contradict each other. PLEASE SHOW ME ONE IN THE QURAN!
