I’ve had neurological issues for over a year now and my doctors finally just told me that I am anemic after many blood test. I was sent to every kind of specialist I was given so many tests, and now they found out finally. I have to see a hematologist. I’m wondering if the symptoms can get better and improve currently, I am unable to use my limbs at times the pain is so bad I’ve been in pain every day for a whole year and I’m not able to walk much or hold things I’m in my late 20s. I hope and pray that anyone suffering from this or any illness gets better God bless. I’ve been on B12 supplements for months now. I’m not sure about the folic part. I’ll have to make sure but hopefully my hematologist will help me.

My doctor had me stop taking the extra B12 and shots I was on and just do the 1000mcg she recommended. A year later and I've been in agony not knowing what happened, tested for everything, and finally just took my 10,000mcg of sublingual and instantly felt some relief. I suffered so much for no reason. I'm going to demand my injections again.

I have autoimmune PA too. I do great on 2000 mcg daily of sublingual B12 spray. I only had 4 B12 injections before I switched over to sublingual. So much better! I’ve been on sublingual daily for 14 years. If I stop my B12 spray then symptoms start coming back in a day or so.

@@charlyrogers5711 Of course! My pernicious anemia developed as result of Malabsorption Syndrome and is comorbid with gastric disease, so I have a lot of gastric symptoms like nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramping, and severe weight loss that may not be caused by the anemia, but CAN be. The doctor thinks they are exacerbated with it in my case. I also experienced extreme fatigue, dizziness, loss of balance and confusion. It was these symptoms in particular that got our attention. We did a blood panel, and my B12 measured at 82 pg/mL. I now do weekly injections of 1000mcg and as of three weeks ago have a B12 level of 212 pg/mL. I still suffer severe gastric symptoms but do have periods when I’m much better. I am still a bit unsteady as well but the other neurological symptoms have disappeared. How about you?

@@vapemcvaperson I’m so sorry to hear you’re struggling as well! Ironically, I’m about to start seeing my doctor for routine examination because of bleeding as well. I have Cyanocobalamin 1000mcg and use sterile single-package syringes to inject it weekly. Have you looked into seeing if you may qualify for free health insurance? I know it varies as to where you live/your situation, but if you do end up ordering it, please check into the company! I would still purchase my syringes from a pharmacy vs ordering so you can ensure they are sterile and not broken.

I have autoimmune PA with both intrinsic factor antibodies and parietal cell antibodies. I need B12 daily! I first was given B12 injections once a week. A terrible rollcoaster of feeling better then feeling worse. Ugh. And the side effects of an acne rash over my face and chest (took 4 months to go away after stopping injections) and shortness of breath. I switched to sublingual to see if that worked and wow! amazing!! I use 2000 mcg bioceuticals sublingual B12 spray every day. I could not imagine going 3 months without B12. 🤯 I once did not have my spray for 3 weeks. OMG!! Horrendous! The most insanely severe unliveable brainfog, extreme fatigue, white spots started reappearing on my forearms again, body odour….etc. Within 5 minutes of taking my B12 sublingual spray the brain fog disappeared. My God the relief was intense!!!! 🙌🥳 But after not having any B12 for 3 weeks I had a headache as a side effect for a few days. Whoever wrote the treatment for PA is B12 every 3 months needs to a good kick up the…lol
@binathere2574

It's not possible for someone with PA to absorb sublingual B12 you don't have the ability to absorb if you have intrinsic factor antibodies or parietal cell antibodies . Something is not correct in your diagnosis.

I only ever knew about iron-deficient Anemia, so thank you for the info! On an aside, can B-12 deficiency become a thing from over-using b-12 supplements/drinks? I know a few energy drink brands have like 300% daily value of B12, which I used to drink at least once a day for a few months, but then I passed a kidney stone that split my 'exit' wider (that was both painful and horrifying; thought I got but by a snake or something because I was working as an arborist and was relieving myself by a bush) and quit drinking them except but maybe twice a year, if I'm REALLY needing a pick-me-up..
