I'm SOOOOO Confused with your hex/bin conversion... You have data lines from left to right D7-D0. (Insignificant point, kinda) You are also writing the hex 0x??? value from left to right (IE: 0x??00). but you're counting binary as 8,4,2,1... I thought binary was always counted as single digit to the left...??? (IE: 1,2,4,8) Am I backwards?

No you don’t. The video is bullshit and doesn’t explain anything. The only thing you can get from that is how the chip’s input and output works, which is actually obvious when you look on the documentation for any ram or rom. You can make sure that i’m right by asking yourself how the 8 bits from memory are getting into the output lines from based on input bits. Nothing is explained about how prom is being written, how the cells latching the data. I hope this guy teaches better in class, because for a youtube video this quality of explanation is unacceptable.
