I grew up loving my country, wanted to some thing great for it. At the same time I was very keen to visit Great Britain, Ihad heard so much about it from the family. I did get chance to visit it and work there also in avery junior position. Experience was an eye opener. Majority of people were helpful, truthful, friendly and supportive. Since I had gone as a tourist discrimination did not bother me. I realised how unorganised we were, how shallow our knowledge and how poor our planning. We are on the right track now, let us put sincere honest effort and work hard to put Bharat in the position which it deserves and desires. Sorry for being wordy we are with infinity foundation.

Listening to Rajiv sir each time feels like a masterclass. Sir I grew up hating Hinduism thinking it is the reason for the oppression in our society but today I understand the importance of Indian heritage and our classical ancient past that we must unearth with correct knowledge under the right guidance of non racist British/American propagandists. We are amidst a cultural war and every Indian must take full responsibility of understanding Bharat’s history without the colonial-racist lense.

Anyone who stands up for Hindu rights is a Hindutva! It is bad because somehow, they are all fascists due to its impact on religious minorities and issues related to secularism and pluralism in India that is created based on two nation theory of Quran: Darul-Harb (to be destroyed) and Darul Islam (to be expanded removing the last kafir on earth). ChatGPT: "Dismantling Global Hindutva" (DGH) is an academic conference and series of discussions that aims to critically examine and analyze the global spread and impact of Hindutva ideology. It brings together scholars, activists, and experts to discuss various aspects of Hindutva, its influence, and its implications, both within India and in the Indian diaspora worldwide. The term "Hindutva" refers to the right-wing Hindu nationalist ideology that seeks to promote the cultural, social, and political dominance of Hindus in India. It is often associated with the belief in India as a Hindu nation and can be controversial due to its perceived impact on religious minorities and issues related to secularism and pluralism in India. "Dismantling Global Hindutva" does not necessarily advocate for the dismantling of Hinduism as a religion but rather aims to engage in critical discussions about the political and cultural dimensions of Hindutva ideology. The conference addresses various topics related to Hindutva, such as its historical roots, its impact on minority communities, its influence in politics, and its global outreach. It's important to note that DGH has generated both support and criticism. Supporters view it as a platform for academic discourse and dialogue on an important and controversial topic, while critics argue that it may be biased or one-sided in its approach. Since my last knowledge update was in September 2021, I may not have information on specific events or developments related to Dismantling Global Hindutva that have occurred after that date. If you are seeking more recent information on this topic, I recommend consulting news sources or academic resources for the latest updates and perspectives.

As a Canadian, I also grew up in a "British Colonial" attitude that buried other traditions. You can look at Irish tradition having been attacked by Britain. My Canadian/German heritage was also more or less "disappeared" through two World Wars when USA and Canada were suspicious of Germans. My mother never learned German language, basically "verboten." So Rajiv, I share your "loss of history" but I have refrained from running backwards with claims of this against that. I am a "Child Of The Universe," you might say. I understand "the human condition" or perhaps "the dichotomy of being a sentient being." ALL of religious thought is a product of ALL humans having had a "presence" here on planet Earth, and it is entirely logical to link all of history and all of human civilization as the single ONE. Absolutely, British colonization eclipsed many ancient cultures, just as USA culture blankets us all, but that is simple reality and we need to COMBINE things as opposed to taking back old culture and displacing the current "Western" ideology. I am no friend to USA, some Canadians like myself have separated from that overpowering bias, and it is difficult to oppose the mainstream yet hope and pray for a global community of equanimity and compassion. Who likes snakes, Rajiv? But "other cultures" are the human reality of "Us And Them" that spiritual disciplines endeavor to unite.

And then there is Vandana Shiva and "Oneness vs the 1%" and her LONG campaign supporting agriculture in India and globally. I remember the massive Farmers' Strike in India during the last few years. And by the way, I read a lot of Rajiv's "Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Power." I had mentioned Rajiv because I am familiar with his WORK and I know he was NOT religious before becoming a guru of Hindu majority. I was born into a Catholic family which WAS a prominent religion in Canada, but I left that Church when I was 12 and wandered like Buddha, looking for spiritual fulfillment. I am very aware and notice all kinds of religious "hatred" that so many have against "The Other" that they fear so must attack. While reading various philosophers, one gains a "universal" vision of "the dichotomy of being a sentient being." I don't need to be living in a cave in the Himalayas, I am an "Urban Hermit" here by myself in my little apartment still having an internet view of the world, very much "entitled" within a little envelope of retirement. Let's laugh at all the absurdity of "being" in this world....

For e.g. being a Telugu, my perception could be that Tamilian, Hindi speaking person is discriminating me if he/she hasn’t invited me for a Tamilzh get together and your research quotes my perception as discrimination based on which you will recommend all Tamizh speaking Indians to be pushed out of the U.S. I would say, it is a very low quality, agenda driven anti-Tamizh research like how the Christian lady with the twitter handle - ‘DalitDiva’ does against all Hindus.

Caste is not Indian, it's a superimposition from Spanish/Portuguese caste system and English Class system on India, with the objective of dividing the natives and use them against each other while English hold power and work as a mediator. Caste was a pyramid scheme which Europeans sold to Indians via their English imposition in Indian society to divide Indians into groups/ghettos and make them fight with each other. Varna is Profession and Gotram is Lineage or Caste, Hindus don’t marry in same Gotram or Caste because it’s considered same bloodline hence we don’t marry between bothers and sisters.
@robertcox14 Жыл бұрын
Before listening, I would like to comment, I am a white man of 72 years of Irish/German descent, born in Canada. I was born in a devoted Catholic family, but I left that religion when I was 12 years old. I traveled through India for a month in 1974. Starting in 1993, I began reading about Buddhism and now consider myself an "independent" Buddhist, following a path that incudes "belief in God" that underscores being "clean and sober" (no alcohol or drugs) since 1993. In the 30 years after 12 years old, I visited various religious doctrines, including Baptists, Unitarian, Quaker and Bahaii. I have a simple belief that ALL FAITHS have a certain level of relationship with divinity and so any deep commitment by any person is a valid and useful religious experience. The one problem is the human emotions tied to these beliefs, and of course any abuse by "leaders" who desire to expand their power over others, using faith as a lever of control and distraction, making the leader more important than the practice and belief. Mr. Modi has insisted that Hinduism is a "national religion" and has increased HIS power over Hindus inappropriately grasping political power through a FALSE identification of being some sort of "guru" leading Hindus while being a "material" politician with ZERO faith. His hands-together token of peaceful intent is NOT honest as we see the disruption in India due to the religious civil war that Modi's "tactics of division" has produced. Remember the Muslims of India being forced to "renew" their citizenship was an early "attack" on non-Hindu Indians. And yes, Rajiv, I did see your "anti-Christian video" about a woman Hindu having converted to Christianity and went back to Hindi, that you expressed as ill intentions of Christianity that enabled others to build a system of discrimination resulting (recently) in violence. Leaders need to have real religious experience if they want to avoid turning faith into hate. You are NOT a "religious" person, Rajiv. You are a businessman/academic in Computer Science which is all very material that suggests you have little religious "faith" and simply search for "more power" for Hindus instead of religious development. Both you and Modi are "materialists" and are likely to turn the religion you don't LIVE into political mayhem. I had planned a trip to Auroville during this September and had obtained an Indian visa, but I cancelled it after the riots against Christians and the murder of the Sikh activist in Canada. I must insist that PM Modi and Rajiv Malhotra have contributed to hate and violence rocking India. Stepping back and recommending renewal of ideals of "living together in harmony" is the way forward, perhaps an apology from the "hate-makers" and the resignation of PM Modi with an election to find better leadership.

Respectfully disagree. 1) Modi and Rajiv ji are not opposing other religions (theology), but opposing the abusers of other religions and ideologies (marxism) who are constantly attacking hindu religion and hindus. 2) Have the leaders of other religions accepted and apologized for the atrocities committed on hindus and their temples/institutions in past?? 3) Have they stopped that attack (expansionism) since? The sikh "activist" in Canada is a Khalistani terrorist with murder charges in India and inciting secession of Punjab state from India. In the 1980s the khalistani terrorists killed thousands of hindus, killed India Prime Minister Mrs Gandhi, bombed Air India flight from Canada killing 300 ppl Riots against Christians - Referring to Manipur? Did you check who first started it? How many hindus were killed? Did you check the xtian conversion and demography change in North East states since independence 1947? Did you try to find what happened to all the hindus there? If you keep reading left wing communist media you will get only anti-hindu propaganda.

@@sreed7274In my further remarks I said that recounting "previous injuries" does not solve anything, it just escalates the disagreements. I am very familiar with those problems, but you have to move forward. Decolonization is still going on, as you see France being chased out of Africa. Somehow, humanity has to avoid killing each other into extinction. What method of "peacemaking" would you suggest? STOP the war in Ukraine and all the other conflicts by negotiations and cooperation. In Canada, we have separatist movements in Quebec and more recently in Alberta. We are continuing to be "civil" about it, and you MUST understand that social media, etc. spreads bad intentions very quickly, and we all must be aware of being lead into disaster. The current "gender crisis" in Canada is totally fake, and is being used to divide the population. Parents need to bust it up and demonstrations will lead to violence if we are "suckered" by those who wish to destroy human civilization.
@sreed7274 Жыл бұрын
@@robertcox14 Appreciate your response. First of all Hindus as a community moved on pardoning / forgetting the past injuries. It is bare minimum to expect a verbal acceptance and apology for past misdeeds (brutal). That is basic humanity. Does that entail any physical hardship on any? Hindus did not even ask that. But the past is rearing its ugly head in the form of religious expansionism, terrorism. Turned the perpetrator-victim around (perpetrator claim victim and victim projected perpetrator) by controlling and manipulating history. After India independence the central education ministry was given to muslim heads instead of hindus. This after muslims get a separate exclusive land (Pakistan) for themselves. The first education minister was born in Saudi, a priestly class and a staunch practicing muslim. It is obvious what will be narrated in education. I do not agree with any wrongs being perpetrated on the French or English stayed back in Africa but they shld respect the local civilization. The separatist movement in Quebec does not involve killing of thousands of people. Every movement in India results in thousands of hindus killed and/or driven away from their own lands. If you look at it Caucasians are outsiders to Canada unlike hindus in India. They did not suffer millions killed and suffered brutalities in their lands for centuries, lost one third of the land. Hindus cannot afford to lose anymore land. There are over a billion people in a small geography. The woke agenda has been driving in India for a much longer times since decades. Probably India is the first country to be piloted right out of US universities.

29:51 - There is no definitive evidence to suggest that ancient Indians knew the velocity of light in the way that it is scientifically understood today. The concept of the speed of light as a constant in vacuum, approximately 299 792 458 m / s, is a modern scientific discovery that required specific technological advancements to measure. Some people point to ancient Hindu scriptures like the Rigveda or texts like the Puranas as having estimates for large cosmic distances and time scales, suggesting that these could imply a knowledge of the speed of light. For instance, a passage from the Rigveda mentions the sun's chariot moving 2,202 yojanas in half a nimesha. However, these claims are not supported by mainstream historians or scientists. The units used in these texts (yojanas and nimeshas) are not clearly defined in a way that allows for precise scientific measurement, and the context often suggests these numbers may be more poetic or symbolic rather than accurate physical measurements. In short, while ancient Indian civilizations had knowledge in various fields like mathematics and astronomy for their time, there is no evidence to suggest they knew the velocity of light as understood and measured by modern science. Therefore, the Rishis did not use any framework that Malhotra suggests, indicating that Malhotra's approach lacks a scientific basis.
