🚜 The EU's Forest Observatory 2020 includes agricultural fields, which can cause inaccuracies. Picterra combines several forest layers to get closer to the notion of undisturbed forest pre-2021.
🌲 We utilize the tropical moist forest layer and World Resources Institute forest coverage, which includes forest canopy cover percentage. By incorporating canopy height models, we align with the EUDR's requirement of trees at 5m height and above.
