I’ve had this with two guys in Taurus and I’m the ascendent . ABSOLUTELY ELECTRIFYING. The mars mens hands had like a magnet to my body and they were very obsessive and jealous/possessive. The first guy was so supportive it felt like he adored me aswell and wanted me to be confident and happy/successful. I unfortunately had to travel and move away but even when I left he kept tabs on me and he kept my empty perfume bottle just to remember me. The second guy is the one I’m talking to now has both his mercury/mars conjunct my ascendent so I feel it helps on my part because his voice is the sexiest voice I’ve ever heard I’m not even lying he’s the first guys who’s voice I’ve been obsessed with and it’s waterworks just by him talking. 😩 girls drool over him but he only wants me. Imo I do find that Taurus mars men are way more loyal and truthful than Taurus sun men! I also have my Saturn and Jupiter in my first house. Only competition is moon conjunct mars but it’s less animalistic and like you said more classy and romantic it’s more of a soul bonding but also baby maker! The first man I ever fell in love with had his mars conjunct my moon in libra and till this day I feel we both are still in love with each-other but I broke his heart unintentionally and he has hated me since so deff more touchy feels where as the mars/ascendent is more about passion/chemistry and action a lot more bold interaction.

Have this with a guy. My mars is in his 1st house conjunction his asc, his mars is in my 5th house trine my moon. The minute our eyes locked it was intense. We both would try to flirt and get so flustered and clam up and awkward at first. We couldn’t even talk to each other it was rough. I have never had a crush like this.. In Natal astrology, the Ascendant acts like a giant magnification lens for any planet that may be near it--it really amplifies/highlights/activates more than any other symbol in astrology. This is why people who have accurate charts, and who have a Planet closely conjunct their Ascendant, are often seen to be almost like a personification of that Planet's energies, themes, and vibratory patterns both in their character and in their lives. While it is not quite the same in Synastry, there is a similarity. Generally speaking, the Ascendant person really amplifies and magnifies the energies of that Planet's energies and themes when it is in the 1st House and especially strongly when closely conjunct the Asc. * With Mars, we have a very RED energy getting powerfully activated and amplified. Mars is basically testosterone and has a lot of correspondence to pure sexual, rutting-hormonal type lust, and to anger and aggressiveness. And EGO--yes, that sensitive, fragile, self protective, defensive part of us that is constantly trying to deflect anything from wounding our feelings and sense of self. * Obviously this is not as intense, deep, constant, and permanent as it tends to be in a Natal chart. It is most strongly felt when the two people are in close proximity with each other, either physically and/or energetically, whereas in a Natal chart, it is always there unless a person really uses their freewill to start to change on a fundamental level (hard to do, but can be done). Anyways, I've experienced this Synastry overlay, and have come to mostly dislike it because invariably ego and its over sensitivity gets too involved. Unless there are more truly love oriented patterns going on (involving say Venus, Jupiter, Neptune, Sun, etc), then it is best left alone. Lust/physical attraction is not a good base of a relationship. Btw, this is part of a group of overlay patterns that I call the "power placements" because there is some natural, but indirect resonance/connection between the Planet and the House, with the House being a sensitive/receptive/amplifying area to begin with and the Planets being personal, sensitive points. The other ones are Sun in the 5th, Moon in the 4th, Venus in the 7th. So altogether, the Synastric power placements are Sun in the 5th, Moon in the 4th, Venus in the 7th, and Mars in the 1st (to a lesser degree also the 8th). These become particularly strong when one of these Planets also rules one of the Angles--especially the 1st, 7th, and 4th (also the MC/10th to some extent). For example, say in one person's chart, the Sun is their "chart ruler" aka Ascendant ruler, and it is placed in the 5th House of the other person's chart. It will very strongly felt by both people. It can get even stronger and more highlighted if that person's Planet is also conjunct or opposed another person's planet which is also a ruler of the 1st, 7th, or 4th (or to a lesser extent the MC/10rh). Using the past example, say that person's chart ruler, the Sun in the other person's 5th House is also conjunct their Neptune, the ruler of their Descendant. Very, very intense and powerfully connected type pattern.

omg yay😭💖 in libra is interestingggg, and with saturn. Libra mars is shyyy in the 1st house. They’re used to having a little more control over their emotions but in someone else’s 1st house, it’s almost a lil uncomfortable for them to be feeling so many feelings and so strongly. They may hide it in the beginning but the attraction is the same! With Saturn there, it’s not going to dampen it. But it will add an element where the mars person will feel you have to earn the privilege of having them show their true emotions unfiltered and unrefined. Saturn also adds an extra layer of commitment! They’ll think twice before taking any action towards the relationship because they only want to engage in something they feel will be long term. And they don’t want to be embarrassed in any way. The effects will also be different depending on how close mars and saturn are sitting together in degrees. Pluto in the 1st is an indicator that you’ll be a major influence in how he views relationships in the future.

great question! it really depends on their whole chart but, if their mars is in the sign after your ascendant sign, you could feel like it blends with a mars in 2nd overlay. however, I'd say for the most part, the effects usually feel the same. usually if it feels like it doesn't quite fit, it might be due to something else that clashing with it or counteracting the energy of that overlay.

so example, if you had an aries mars falling in someone’s 1st house but they were a pisces rising and their 2nd house was ruled by taurus. ultimately, the effects of mars in the 1H synastry would still be present. i’d go as far to say it would be more invigorating and passionate with the intercepted sign. some people would combine mars in the 2H with mars in the 1H interpretations which there’s validity in that as well. a lot of it depends on how the person with the intercepted sign has integrated that energy into their lives over the years. most times, it’s more shocking to the people around that person to see them interact with the planet person.

Truth In Aspect Astrology/Jewel also explains this aspect very well. It’s not just a positive one. The house person may have a problem with the Mars person as the Mars person will jump over Boundaries because they are so excited about the other person. The Sign this takes place in also matters & will affect the degree of attraction.

it still would count as a mars in the 12th overlay, but the aspect of mars conjunct asc would bring a lot of qualities of mars in the 1st to this union. mars conjunct asc, I’d say, is just a more intense version of mars in the 1st lol but also more unstable. but in merging that with mars in the 12th, there would be more emphasis on building deeper connection through this support and high sexual attraction. lmk if that answers your question 💖
