This is so true, my Venus fell into someone's 12th house and to be honest, what you said is exactly what went through my head. "We'll be happier without eachother." And I broke everything off and cut them out for good. I don't negotiate. I'm decisive. I saw potential but in reality the potential is only what I saw and what was in my head. @@MissBanks777 I have seen that even the baddest aspects in synastries can lead to marriage. It takes at least 2-3 good aspects for partners to get along in the long run. But whenever i see any personal planet in the 12th house i am like ugh🤐.. fingers crossed. I don't care if it makes the best aspects with other planets, 12th house overlays unfortunately cause/boost friction. To me Venus in 12th house (love) is like someone let's say a girl entering a shadowy room without windows and doors trying to find her beloved one. This person is intrigued by the mystery and wants to provide/care/ help etc. The 12th house person can tell she is there, they can feel her but they can't see, feel her clearly and therefore they can't completely trust her. And then it goes vice versa.

I’m currently in this situation with another woman, I’m same-sex attracted and my Venus is in her 12th house. She’s 100% my type. We met through online dating, but it took us several months until we could meet in person. So far every person I met was into me. I do look like in my photos. But when I was around her, I got highly insecure! I gave her compliments but she never returned them. So I think, in the case of this aspect: Venus is highly infatuated with 12th house person, but feels under-valued and invisible, so Venus either leaves, or buries their feelings to preserve her own image. When I came home I checked our synastry and composite: we got a 12th house stellium in composite with an 8th house moon. In synastry my Asc conj her SN, her Asc/Lilith conj my NN and her Eros/Juno my SN. Her Mars falls in my 12th house, so I wonder what that means. Is her sexuality invisible to me? Idk, what to make out of all of this, we’re still writing, she wants to meet me again, so we’ll meet as friends, also bc she is already dating someone else and I’m not going to be an affaire to anyone.

I had a crush on him but it wasn’t serious and years later we reconnected on social media and this was when I realized that he was really into me. Another thing that comes to mind, concerning this aspect: I think Venus in 12th house synastry is kinda like the dynamic between Shane and Carmen from the L Word. For anyone who watched that show back then, they’ll know. ;) We, as the Venus people, are like Carmen to someone else’s Shane. Carmen, a total babe, has to face continues rejection, from an emotionally unavailable person. She’s treated like yesterday’s meal. Instead of treating her for the major catch she actually is, Shane is in her own head constantly, engaging in one escapist activity/one-night-stand after another. It takes her a whole season to finally realize and appreciate Carmen’s feelings for her. But it also takes Carmen a whole season to finally talk about her true feelings. Before, she just started dating Shane’s best friend Jenny and continued lusting after Shane from a distance. When they finally do get together, the theme of being undervalued, unappreciated, cheated on and left at the altar sadly continues. Now that I think about it, Venus in 12th house really sucks. My Mercury in Aries appreciated listening to someone discuss this topic without being sucked into the sad and hopeless demeanor many usually do it with (it's sad enough ffs!) But on a real note, the heartbreak is real enough with this natally...when it is compounded by a synastry placement...the pain is unreal. It makes a place that can be so heavenly feel like a hell with no escape or end in sight. 8th House suffering doesn't hold a candle to 12th House suffering because especially for the house person when they don't have any planets in that house to provide them with insight and attract life experiences that give them clues about what's going on up there, it's can be a house where you have very little control.

Wow! Very accurate, AstroDee. I'm experiencing this aspect right now. I'm the 12 house person. Her Venus makes an exact conjunction to my Mars in Aries, which is in my 12th. The problem is, there's nothing I can do about it. She's a good friend of my Wife......not that I want to cheat, but the attraction is undeniable and uncomfortable (at least on my part). I'm not sure how she feels. My wife and I was separated for a couple years and I was so tempted to make my move, but I couldn't bring myself to cross that line. I met a girl a few weeks ago and we hooked up two nights in a row. Come to find out she had just broken up with her bf a week or two earlier. Yess! I'm the Venus person in his 12th house . We always call our time together "the twilight zone" lol . Because when we are together it's like we don't care about anything else that we usually would care about if we were alone. There's this person. Their Scorpio Venus is in 12th. My 12th is in Scorpio and my Venus is in Virgo, which makes this thing make more sense I guess. They wanted something with me. I said no. It wasn't an affair or hooking up, they just couldn't acknowledge how deeply it runs and I wanted to protect the connection. It hurt to say no, but I did it because I knew it would hurt more to act too soon. Some things take time and they were moving too quickly for growth. What you've explained really helps. I swear this barista has their Venus Scorpio/Sag in my 12H. I had to cut them off and completely stop coming to that damn coffee shop.
