you made so many valid points omg. before i met the girl i was talking to, she was a friend of a friend and i heard about her doing little weird stuff. i didn’t care so much but it didn't make me not want to like her & i put it past her cause it wasn’t that serious 😂 then i’m like damn i see what the hell they was talking about bruh until it was me actually witnessing it first hand. i didn’t know why i liked her but i was most certainly wondering HOW i liked her despite what my friends were telling me.

The only guy whose mars was in my 8th house was my boyfriend at the times best friend; we were all in cross country together in high school but me and the mars guy never talked or hung out just the two of us, in fact it always seemed like he didn’t like me or thought I was weird? Anyway, a couple months after me and my boyfriend broke up, Mars guy hit me up to “go for a run” (I was suspicious but intrigued…) and we ended up having sex but I have always felt taken advantage of because he was so pushy and basically would not take no for an answer. I found out that he was telling people about our hookup and saying negative things about me so I avoided him completely after that mess

My mars, Venus (conjunct by 1 orb) and my Pluto are in his 8 house. His mars, Pluto are in my first, his Saturn in my 9th. Right from the start it was deep attraction and connecting, we’re off and on though because we fundamentally have a different perspective on the words “freedom” and “commitment” lol

Idk I’ve had mars in the 1st overlay and 8th overlay and the 8th house was soooooo much more intense and breathe taking. But the en again they had an 8th house stellium in my 8th house with his sun and Pluto conjunct my Pluto. His mars was also conjunct my Venus in 8th house

honestly, any pair with this overlay who can make it past three months, that's an accomplishment in itself cause the mars person really be testing your patience and boundaries and you wanna rip your hair out but like lol it can work for sure. might have to take space and come back to it but if that's what works to get it in a better foundation down the road so you don't have to have every small thing be an argument, then that's the move for sure. 💖

hope you are still doing well. 8 house synastry is almost impossible to detatch from and is very addictive. i ended up sacrificing alot of money and power for my relationship with this placement. found that it transformed the positive parts of other house overlays and enhanced the negative parts, so even though it benefitted parts of my life, i felt like i always owed him something, which wasn't true. if i could give my advice to heal from any past or present wounds because this placement often triggers trauma. wish you lots of luck and happiness.

sexual attraction and chemistry heightened for sure. usually, the person with mars in their 8H natally is more mature about how they express their emotions, so they won’t feel a need to act out but they can be more defensive. but if there’s good mercury compatibility, and you guys can talk things out, then you can keep all the good magnetic stuff about this connection.
