She has completed a PhD in cancer biology at Moffitt Cancer Center, where she studied the role of oxidative stress in lung cancer initiation and progression. She's beginning a postdoctoral research scholar position at the University of South Florida, where she will continue to study novel ways to target cancer metabolism.
