I a few silver rounds my cat’s water fountain and it no longer smells like death. I ground one on my bench grinder, and saved a 3yo oak tree that had been gridded by a weed whacker. I put the dust on exposed wound, then a patch made from another oak’s new growth bark, and wrapped it all in duct tape. I use the remaining dust to as my first treatment to any cut or scratch I might receive. Not sure why this isn’t common practice. Cost isn’t the answer. I ground less than 1/10oz, still have 90% of the material remaining, so $3 of total material with $2.70 remaining. Less than the cost of a Neosporin tube.
