these guys are so blatantly abusing their lack of friendly fire. no matter how good reds are it's always gonna be a 1.5 v 2 because they just can't safely engage the same target whilst the host and their co-op can just constantly swing each other's direction to force disengage.

@@abrahamrangel2326 Even adjusted values for friendly fire will go hard. Something along the lines of 50% health damage but full poise damage on a direct hit. And 30% health damage and 70% poise damage on AoE spells and AoW.

@@sirrealism7300 ngl that's just peak souls interaction. Imagine RP'ing as Patches and doing that to someone fighting the final boss. Edit: They could just punish FFs who TK too often, or even put some sort of indicator on them in their summon signs so hosts are aware that they might be trolling.

As somebody who doesn't play much PVP in ER, I really appreciated this video. There is so much about ER that I learned about from this video. Also 5:21 was insane - if your attack (the killing blow on the phantom) had been even 1/10th of a second later, the entire tenor of the rest of the invasion changes.

Godslayer greatsword moveset second r1 will actually lose priority against other colossal swords if they have high poise (78 base poise) and bullgoat talisman. Since it has lower hitstun, the enemy can input their own r1 and activate hyperarmour just in time to trade through the 2nd r1 of godslayer moveset.

We got a 30 minute video on how to not get roll caught. For real thought I liked it. We need more stuff like this. I’m sure a large number of players don’t even know attack priority is a thing in Elden Ring. I like the new format too. I was actually rewinding to make sure I was taking everything in.

great battle for sure. host and phantom had HUGE advantage with no friendly fire. their whole tactic was to stay close and do the large swings of the UGS through eachother.

Dude, gushing over how well the music matched the mood of this fight at so many points. Insane fight overall, lots of cameos and the rare Steel/Jee team up. Seemed like a decent fight to display priority with two gugs players as well.

I’m loving these new commentary videos. My only complaint is that I wish Jee would talk for longer but I understand some topics can’t be elaborated too much on. It’s very interesting to hear Jee’s perspective on things even if I had already known about some of these topics as he’s very knowledgeable so it’s always worth listening regardless. Also loving the new music choices with the skyrim and other game osts. Throw some oblivion music in there too or something man.

Passive poise is one of the reasons why priority didnt exist in pre 1.10 ER. It still is! But now we also have hyper armour...

@@Flower-o7 priority refers to maintaining your turn to attack and denying the opponent their turn, it’s not a ranking of weapon types.

Is there an actual good strategy to beat a duo like this who use GUGS running r1 to cover each other’s asses when they’re low. I myself never come across the GUGS version, as most use Bloodboon ritual on Mohg spear to do so.

Most Jeanine fans will be disappointed if they ever fight him. If he ever hops into a world where you happen to be helping your friend who doesn't play much. If you put up a fight and he realized that you have a chance at killing him, he will kill the host AND THEN still agrees you.... even if you literally stop fighting ( because the host is dead). He will still go full tilt.... This isn't a sweaty you want to be like

I think it's pretty normal that the host would end up being killed first if they're bad Also jeenine doesn't attack the other phantoms after killing the host out of tilt, he just wants to try and see if he can kill the other people quickly for fun or to entertain his viewers
