Frisk *certainly* didn't persevere when it comes to living through and facing consequences That tracks back to bravery and how Frisk never faces them, that and how they didn't display Justice, which then tracks over to patience and integrity and how Frisk didn't show any of those traits.

Genocide runs are, in essence, despite how they feel to play, are meant to be unsatisfying for the player. It couldn't be made more clear through how most of it is just a walking simulator, and your reward is (usually) a boss that dies instantly for each area. So having an endboss that just rips away all that power you have and ruins your mission just makes all the sense.

I really like how each character’s actions make sense. Sans still being slightly jokey but making sure you will have a bad time. Asgore staying serious and saving his son from an attack. Flowey, I feel is slightly wrong when he actually shows compassion but his other moments more than make up for it. The souls basically saying you don’t deserve your powers and how you wronged monster kind. And Chara was spot on with instead of helping you, actually mentioning his rarely seen dialogue. It’s amazing how well you did the characters

If there’s one thing that I REALLY like about this animation it’s the fact that sans takes out the FIGHT button (with him having arguably the hardest FIGHT) Asgore takes out your Mercy button because you don’t deserve any mercy and he’s not willing to give any and flowey takes out your items which I thought at first don’t make sense but he has the only battles that heal you mid fight, and he knows that the only way you can heal in this fight is through the souls which is on his side not ours. And last but not least the ACT button, which frisk puts away somewhere just waiting to be used until they need it but little did they know that the button would have no effect on any of them. Idk I found this super interesting

I think it is canon that it is a game, but not exactly like ours. If you remember Flowey's speech, he yapped about doing routes and treating Undertale like a game. But not literally like a video game on a gaming platform. Blatantly, it acknowledges the player as a force treating it as a game, in canon. Undertale is meant as a meta commentary, after all. So erasing data manually wouldn't be canon, as it would just be rewriting the video game itself, and everything literally never really happened. Never a happy ending. @@ziatcg8137 In the pacifist route, through interactions with the monsters, Clover realizes they are not Evil (assuming Clover thought of them similar to how monsters are seen: heartless creatures that hunt humans.) Clover most likely saw how Monsters were pushed into their limit, and really didn't want to take those 5 souls, but if it is what it takes for their freedom... TL;DR Clover did not fail their mission, but decided to change it.

Why don't if they just let them lived and return home safely? (Yes, fallen humans needs Monster SOUL to cross the Barrier. Or maybe not. I don't know.) Well, that means they're "okay" with them taking fallen humans SOULs to get what they want. But, it's not "okay" when Clover "took away" their SOULs for bringing Justice towards 5 fallen humans. Got it. And also, it's sucks for Clover to change his mission because in the end, all the 5 fallen humans that he wants to find were all dead. He's trying to bring True Justice for what monsterkind did to those 5 fallen humans. And, even if he DID decided to change his mind to bring Justice towards monsterkind instead, remember. He literally barely makes it out alive for almost every single route in UTY except Genocide Route (which I called it as True Justice Route for UTY).

You brought monsterkind hope, and achieved your happy ending. But you abandoned that timeline. Abandoned your friends. I like how this animation actually acknowledges the fact that Chara doesn't actually want you to repeat the Genocide Run - even calling you a freak if you do it again - as this is something that's been gradually forgotten by the fanbase. the souls rejecting frisk was the best part of this while thing ngl the souls helping asgore and them also is w (should've been in a genocide) finally, flowey saying I'm sorry you 6 is the final redemption at the end, the monsters deserved the win not the human part 2 flowey and clover be fighting side by side along with the other souls which i find insanely nice as it could prove possible pacifist chara rejecting you shows they knew this would eventually happen sooner or later is a incredibly wild betrayal for the true finale, i feel it was dumb of frisk to say toriel's death was for nothing as it jst made asgore stronger 🤦🏾‍♂️ so that final attack from asgore shows his face saying "This is for tori"
