Honestly I like the old sprite better, he looks way less huggable when his face is just traced off of Asriel’s sprite, and his huggable appeal is the main reason I liked him in the first place. If they kept him the same, just recolored and without the hat, it would look really good, but I don’t like how rigid his hatless sprite looks, especially with the uncomfortable hand pose that shouldn’t even be there since Ralsei’s arms used to only appear in some sprites.
