I think you might need to improve your technique. That should reduce the pain.

@Sophie Start by learning to play the piece really slowly. Master it at that speed. Then try playing it slightly faster. Work your way up to the song's actual speed gradually. Also make sure your are sitting up straight in a comfortable position. Keep your wrists loose and limp as you play. When pressing the keys don't let the knuckle closest to the finger tip on each finger get bent backwards.

If you're not understanding why it isnt in the tone it should be and some chords are weird, its because if i remember right, undertale uses a lot of tones that are inbetween two keys and cant be played on a regular piano, thats why you need to adjust the melody of asgores's song ands soe other songs i dont remember right now to be played at piano, not to mention, it is still weird to play
