I think this is a historical event, the first ever fan battle that gives Storyshift Chara thier canon plant magic, i literally have never seen other do this, I'm so happy this is finally happening. If I would change something would be Chara having their hood on, it may seem a nitpick but preboot Chara having their hood on most of the time was a kay element of thier original design

It's kinda crazy how this is one of the most accurate preboot!Shift Charas in any Bad time trio AU(using the canon-accurate plant magic instead of the fanon knife magic, a misconception originally popularized by BTT to begin with, not overusing the red eyes, and them not putting their hands in their nonexistent pockets, etc.), yet it's for an AU combining BTT and freaking Last Breath, an AU whose very premise breaks canon on several levels. It's really refreshing to see a canon-compliant SS!Chara in one of these AUs, even if it's the older preboot canon. Reboot!Shift Chara will have their time one day. Giving Chara access to the green soul mode by wrapping up Frisk with vines is also really smart, especially given how in Undertale Chara seems to admire Undyne even in genocide, and there's many parallels between the two.

Heya, Recalled Knowledge’s creator here. It would have been impossible to use reboot Chara when originally writing and creating RK because Voltra did not allow the usage of reboot SS characters to anyone at all at the time(around 2 years ago). This ban was lifted a couple months ago. ALSO YES, THE VINE THING WAS MY IDEA, I’M SO HAPPY VENNIS MANAGE TO DO IT JUSTICE.

To be clear, I'm not critizing it for using preboot, I am firmly of the opinion that while Reboot!Shift in general needs more love, that doesn't need to come at the expense of Preboot. Mostly, I'm just glad to see the community gradually moving towards more canon-compliant portrayals of Shift!Chara.

Well, I must say, I'm surprised and extremely happy for this animation, in the past bad time trios, the attacks were completely unorganized and had no sign of teamwork, but here: It's completely organized like they practiced before, Papyrus took a hit and defended both Sans and Chara, Sans seemed really chill even though he was attacked while talking, thanks to Papyrus saving Sans, it's showing Sans HAS to be aware of the attacks in order to dodge them. And Chara sliced Papyrus bones showing they can defend themselves and is willing to take it the extra mile to make sure the human is killed.. I love how they all take turns and attack the human in an organized way that shows they WANT the human to suffer defeat while working together. Great animation man and I hope for the next one!

I'm really not all that into Last Breath anymore but this pleasantly surprised me! The animation is stellar, even more than previous ones, and I expecially like the implementation of canon aspecs. (Still kind of sad that it didn't use Reboot Storyshift but eh, at least Chara having plant magic is nice.)

Hey there, RK’s creator here. At the time of making the original RK, Voltra did not allow the use of Reboot Storyshift’s characters or designs at all, this ban was recently lifted a few months ago. RK was made almost more than a year ago, when the ban was still in place. + it wouldn’t be the same if BTT didn’t have Preboot.

Hey thanks for the question, I’ve mentioned this a couple of times in the descriptions of some osts and old channel posts(which may be deleted) but Gaster, RiverPerson and Flowey are all from Undertale in this AU. Flowey only helps SS!Chara because of his fondness and fear of UT!Chara.

Hey, RK’s creator here. No, it was based off of Canon Preboot! Storyshift where Voltra has confirmed that Chara uses plant magic. I don’t know if Vennis based any particular attack off of Fractured but the green soul was my idea and I’m literally fangirling at how well it was executed.
