+Dark_Rose_Z A very loose reference, and if you wanna be technical it could be a reference to the original game's Astaroth since that Astaroth is very similar to Emperor's final form, and a bunch of enemies from the PSX/GBA/PSP port, because the basic pose and angling isn't exactly a brand new thing. And uh, seeing as I made the thing: no, it's not an edit. It was GOING to be an edit of FFVI's Number 128, but I wound up just drawing Asgore over it and doing everything from scratch. So excusing the fact that the base shapes were drawn OVER an existing sprite, this is in no way an edit. Good try, though.

Looking at how much bigger Asgore is compared to Frisk, it makes it that much more idiotically hilarious how a child with at best a toy knife was able to kill or defeat a fully grown, armoured, trained man with a proper trident weapon that would literally skewer you in a single poke. This is still my favorite ASGORE remix (and I've never played FFVI). It fits the emotion of the original, doesn't try to be too flashy with orchestration or guitars, but still keeps itself interesting with different soundfonts. Also, the section of ASGORE I love the most is 0:53 - 1:44, since it's the section that best conveys the feeling of trying to dodge ~3979125 fireballs with dramatic fire in the background, and you really nailed it with the octave jump + instrument change.

I have the c700 plugin on my mac in garageband but it always plays on channel 1 and doesn't play when I restart the track. How do I switch the tracks so that I can use different samples on one part of the track?

No idea how it works on Mac, or in GB, or I'd be able to tell you. In FL at least, you essentially have to just tie the proper MIDI-OUT or whatever output channels to the C700 output channel(s), and then use the bank numbers in conjunction with any existing bank numbers on the track.
