Disbelief is basically just Papyrus going through the stages of grief in a mixed up order. 1. Denial. The first and third phase. He denies that the human would do such things, that his friends are really dead. 2. Anger. Phases two and three. Doing everything in his power to end the human's life. 3. Bargaining. The end of phase one. Trying to convince the human they don't really want this, that they're not like this, that they can be happy with out killing, that they can change. 4. Depression. Crying at the end of the phases. Sad because everyone he knew is gone. 5. Acceptance. Phase four. Realizing that he shouldn't do what his brother or friend wants him to do, but what he wants, doing things his way, and accepting that whom he loved really are gone.
