i mean. to be fair, flowey probably does view clover as a friend to some extent. he said 'see you later, friend' (or something to that effect, i haven't seen that scene in a minute so forgive me if it's not word for word) to clover as they were dying from giving up their soul, and reassured them that he wouldn't reset their efforts, which there would be no point in doing if he just wanted to manipulate them (clover was dying and flowey didn't think they'd come back, and they wouldn't remember this moment if he reset anyways). then again, it could just be that clover's sacrifice was reminding flowey of chara poisoning themself, and his gesture of 'empathy' was out of old sentimentality instead of any actual friendship between him and clover, but y'know.

One thing I really love about this mod so far is how Chara develops. Where in Pacifist you see them becomng more resentful for their actions as well as generally being less stoic. Whereas in Geno, Chara slowly becomes more and more dominant the farther you go. It really slots in well with the base game.
