Should have been “This happens when you KILL undyne during a neutral route.” I knew the answer to the question instantly, but it took me a while to figure out the question. You can spare in a neutral run. A few others were also questionably worded, but overall you did a good job.

Yeah, several things can happen with Undyne in a Neutral route (which is simply not doing [True] Pacifist or Genocide): - You fight and kill Undyne, where her determination causes her to slowly melt. [This may be done during a "No Mercy" playthrough where you're killing everything in front of you, but not grinding the kill counter for Genocide] - You flee and don't hydrate her, causing her to die from heat stroke. - You do hydrate Undyne, which is ultimately how you spare her and progress through Pacifist (though future events can be done violently). - You beat her as Undyne the Undying during Genocide mode (which the game goes into after clearing out Ruins and continues as you keep clearing out each area's kill count), but abandon Genocide at a later point. [Technically still Neutral ending]. - You can also date Undyne technically in a Neutral End, as the final events to unlock True Pacifist is the Alphys date then True Lab. Not doing those is still Neutral route if you were to go to Asgore.

While not on the soundtrack, the snore symphony in the Snowed Inn is also entirely Earthbound, as it uses the Buzz Buzz sample. The ambient water sound is also from Earthbound. Notable as well are Run! and Confession, which are made entirely from Mother 3 samples. Some other tracks that feature samples entirely from one source are Dogsong (Mario Paint) and Oh! The original Underswap was an art AU. Drawing new art was the whole point. It did not have a plot, or any other content besides art, because it was just an excuse to draw the characters differently. A lot of AUs get started as art AUs, and many of them never progress beyond that stage.

The song Revtrosity was thinking of around 3:36 is called Ascension and actually does have some of the Bonetrousle motif in it, though extremely unintentionally LOL. It's in the form of a sick violin solo and the first time I heard it I immediately thought of Bonetrousle
