Those hate comments are disgusting to read. This is a comic where Chara absolutely feels remorse, and their character is having more development and explanation. Chara isn't a one dimensional killer, and never even really was. Those anon comments were being way too unnecessarily harsh and honestly it's ridiculous. Also, great work on the dub!! I love your work!

Pax Perhaps not a one note killer, but a killer is a killer. Remorse and guilt are not absolution. Chara went through with her(his, whatever) plan, and If it wasn’t for how kind Asriel was back then, six innocent souls would have been stolen(in other words, they’d have been murdered). Furthermore, it’s highly likely a 2nd war between humans and Monsters would have started because of it, consuming more and more lives. Ridicule and disgust are honestly par the course for this. We’re Chara not a child, the retribution for the(quite justified) anger at Chara would not be nearly as severe.

"What part of a pre-meditated attepted murder suicide isn't wrong?" That is such a powerful, interesting sentence to say aloud. We can understand the frustration in Chara as he/she voices his/her dissapointment and anger over how his/her plan failed. Still, that's no reason for people to hate. Yes, Chara made a poor judgement, but he/she at least feels remorse and is still a good person at heart. That's how I feel personally.

Nice! I was hoping you'd continue this one. Undyne's voice sounded really weird in that first segment. I have always wondered why her voice isn't heard in that scene while Papyrus's is. I suppose he was speaking much louder than her. Nice Echo Flower voices! That conversation with the readers was really sad... I had read it before, but listening to it now doesn't make it any better. :( Still, it's a very interesting explanation for Chara's actions.

Emma Pelkey Sacrifice her life to let a monster cross the barrier and kill six others. Without a doubt, this would have freed monsters. It also would very likely have started a war that most monsters would die in. Stupid, shortsighted, and honestly unforgivable.

Jaxus R Nope. That is incorrect. They wanted revenge because they were treated bettter in the UNDERGROUND. Some parts show throughout the game chara wanted to kill frisk In the Genocide route. Chara is being pushed onward for stats. If you keep on sharing your “Opinion” outloud then people may come at you and hat on you. What’s your problem? People can like whatever character they want. Here is the whole theory and backstory. Chara was a child who was hated by humanity. That is how they eventually developed their HATE soul but that does not mean that Chara is evil. If they were evil they would find a knife to kill most of the villagers. After running out of the village and jumping into the UNDERGROUND to die, they meet Asriel. Even though he does state that Chara hated humanity at some point in the game, he just wanted to forget about Chara’s death. In the genocide route, you push chara on and on to kill. You blame them for all the madness. The true villain is Frisk. They decide Chara’s fate. They decide what to do. They are the ones who suffer the consequences. You should really read a theory about this Anyway let’s continue. The war was started before Chara even fell down. The war was probably made because of a disagreement. When chara kills frisk it means that Chara wanted to take Friak’s soul to cross the barrier. There is a chance that Chara is considered a monster.

Chara is not a girl. There's no known gender for them. You can't argue with Toby Fox, the game's creator. He said that there's no confirmed gender for Chara AND Frisk. Pink cheeks mean nothing. Anyone can have pink cheeks. Their hair is not long, it's average, it doesn't even touch their shoulder, and anyone can have long hair. Chara is just short for CHARActer. Hope you understood.

@@jaxusr235 You do not deserve mercy since you only believe chara is evil because of the ending in the genocide route, many timelines pass and the player pushes chara to kill the monsters. Toriel, Papyrus, Undyne, Muffet, etc. Chara was never involved in the death of monsters. Or so we thought. Chara is getting PUSHED by the player to kill, when we get to flowey after asgore's death he begs formercy and chara wants to spare asriel/flowey too... But you keep pushing chara to do it. So... Is there a real villian in the genocide route? Yes, Depending on how much you kill, you push chara further. Frisk / The Player is technically the villian depending on their choices. After you do the true reset, everything is forgotten... Sans forgets.. Most of the reset, flowey forgets that you saved him, and chara? She most likely remembers since she is not really part of the true timeline. You expect to see frisk sleepingpeacefully but then.. You see chara with her flashing red eyes.. That is only because she wants revenge.. She wants to kill frisk in order to obtain their soul and actually become a human after the genocide route. She does not want frisk's existance. When frisk "Dies" after chara's appearance chara could have obtained frisk's soul. Chara's power is enough to actually kill frisk. Inthe genocide route the "Where are the knives" quote from chara referrs to her wanting to kill herself because of humanity hating them. Chara was hated by humanity and wanted to commit Potato. They climbed on Mt. Ebott to expect death. After many years, frisk fell into the underground, frisk's fall awakended chara. Toriel burried chara after asriel did not obtain the 7 souls to let monsters out. Frisk's fall awakend chara after many years of death. We do know what chara was hiding from.. Humanity. So, chara was always nice. The player is the one who pushes chara to be evil. Chara was never involved in death. They hated humanity and wanted to obtain frisk's soul to cross the barrier. Or so we thought. Chara cannot absorb the monster souls so she is stuck with frisk forever. Technically there is no villian. But... Frisk... They are the villian since they push chara forward.. Just for EXP, HP, ITEM, STATS, CELL, AT the end, chara kills frisk and most likely posseses frisk or their soul to be human. That is my theory. Sorry Bud but you are wrong if you though chara was the villian.
