Time is short and every second counts. There's never a good time to be sick and it sucks if it gets in the way of doing something you love. I had some cute moments though when I was sick. This little girl I used to babysit would leave sticky notes on my bedroom door saying "Get Well" or had pony drawings. That's about the only time I liked having the flu lol. Great dubbing by the way. You earned yourself another subscriber. :)

I watched this on a day I was sick, like, throwing up and not having an appitite sick Papyrus, I know exactly how you felt *At school* Friend: You need to call home Me: No! I will not let this stomachache take me home! I'll fight through! **im laying my head down on the desk a few minutes later** Friend: Tell the teacher now... Me: Nope! In short I ended up throwing up right after that class was over. I wish I had listened to you before I made the hallway ring with the sound of puking from the bathroom. And now I have returned with the same sickness Ah yes, I think Pap lied about being sick to Sans because... Well, he loves his job so much, he probably doesn't want to stay home when he could be (trying to) protect the underground :P

First off, nice comic. It's really true to Papyrus. As for an answer for the question, Papyrus lied since that's just the way he is. He won't just let being sick get in the way of him joining the royal guard. If it wasn't for Sans, he would've been at his post looking for humans, sick or not. I can't relate to him this way cause if I get a inkling of sickness, I'll just stay in bed.
