Maybe it's just so that Toriel, being 'evil' as she is, is just trying to stop humans from getting past. If she's anything like Toriel from UnderTALE she has seen the same fate happen to six humans. I have a theory that maybe she moved her house there so that they wouldn't die like the others. "So what Aura's Sphere? She said she saw it again and again!" You might think but of my experience she never specifically said that it has happened to all six of them. That's what I think.
