I like how chara isn't a demon in this, like how she's usually portrayed, because she's not even like that in the game! she's just a goofy kid who's stuck with the player, and they help you go down your path, no matter how evil it is. plus they're the narrator.

Me as a *Chess* *Nerd*: A stale mate is when your king cannot move anywhere becuase it puts them in check. Bacon: Because your stale, and i'm your mate! Edit: basically if your gonna say I described a checkmate, a checkmate is when your put in check and can't find a way out of check. A stalemate is when you can't make a move because any move you make will put you in check. Even with that out the way, bacon probably knew what stalemate meant, but considering Papyrus could easily could have ended the fight next turn if he wanted to.
