@@T.V102 To be fair Toby has never mentioned anything at all regarding the gender of his human characters, and the few times he did get a chance to speak he preferred to skip the question (like in an interview where one of the rules is that he could skip a question). that he did not want to answer and that surrounded the gender of the protagonist and some characters) and the closest thing to a "correction" was what happened with the members of Fangamer, but more than a correction to what they said about Kris "He's stuck" was that he only commented the same thing as his mates but with the term "They're", because let's be honest, if he used another pronoun, a lot of people would fall on him.

Deltarune takes place in an alternate universe and is separate from Undertale. They do share characters and some of the basic plot is the same (you play as a non-binary kid who falls down into a kingdom of bizarre creatures and must take down a figure of authority whilst a greater threat lurks in the shadows) but outside of that they have almost no connection.

Kris AIN'T a he/him 😭😭😭 In game, every single dialogue box refers to them as they/them, not a single mention to any other pronoun. Not only that but it also occurs in Spamton's Sweepstakes pages (icee, the_n3w3st_g1rl_g1rl y kris_dreemurr_kris). And on top of that, Toby corrected one of the Fangamer dudes (He said "He's stuck in a cutscene, and Toby immediately said "They're stuck"). So yeah, Kris is a they/them.
