The Chara poem, the "7 ate 9" gag being an analogy for the Snowgrave route, and the possibly foreshadowing of the negative numbers, the acknowledgement of AU Sanses and the amazing concept art and music... 10/10 newsletter, the fanservice is off the char(a)ts!

@@FlowFlow_2slow When Papyrus and the rest are describing how "5 sics 7, who ate 9, but 7 couldn't control themself and did it out of love/trust for 5, making them the misunderstood anti-hero", it lines up SCARILY well with how the Weird Route (and Deltarune as a whole if you're just plain mean) plays out. The Player (possessing Kris), or 5, makes Noelle (7) kill 9, or Berdly. No clue about the negative numbers though, and past that it just seems like goofy fun as usual.

I don't believe chapter 4 isn't going to have a dark world because...toby mentioned it would be more formulaic than chapter 3 and every chapter is going to have light world segments between dark worlds anyways. we probably just don't get to see it so we can't piece together where it takes place. our only hint about it is the feathered cup darkner which could be basically anywhere

Chara content (the first time Toby actually recognises Chara outside consept art in the book or semi-official Tarrot cards). Snowgrave and Toriel ,,puppet " implications are cool. We get confirmation that Ch3-4 are complete and would probably take 4-6 mounts to be released cuz translations and extra functions for Game Enginez. 6:50 That's the carnival. Idk how people think this is the Holiday household. (Less likely it's a Dark World)

Yeah, this one had a lot of fun stuff, but no really revolutionary information. The closest thing theory-wise I could come up with is that the lamentation of the limits of 9 in the letter translates to the limits of a video game that Toby likes to explore, in various ways. But, personally, I think this is just supposed to be fanservice without higher meaning. Here are the definitive things I was able to dig up that aren't already in the video: The "carpet" thing is definitely the chapter 3 intro area. The link to the asset is called "list_48/campaign_9/ch3_introarea-HxethfSyBXRFIe3c.png". And just to give confirmation, "list_48/campaign_9/ch4_flashlight-HxethfSyBXRFIe3c.png" means the flashlight thing is from chapter 4. The climbing thing is a cup. The link to the asset is "list_48/campaign_9/climbing%20cup-HxethfSyBXRFIe3c.gif", which includes "cup" in the name. The balloon does not have a chapter specified "ist_48/campaign_9/balloons_1_b-HxethfSyBXRFIe3c.gif". This could mean A: Chapter 5 asset that isn't named as to not give too much away/is a prototype/has not yet been included in the actual assets B: An asset created to hint at chapter 5, but is not an actual asset in the chapter C: Just something created for the newsletter without meaning (I find this one to be unlikely). I want to note that the name includes "b" and "balloons" is plural, so it is implied that there are other balloons, probably in other colours (b=blue). (edited for better readability)

Clarification after a bit more digging, here is how the interesting assets are described internally: Susie and Kris "Kris and Susie on a bridge, looking into darkness" The flashlight image is called "Noelle pointing a flashlight at her face" The balloon is described as "A balloon" The climbing cup is described as "Cup with legs climbing a wall, occasionally sweating and slipping down, but ever climbing"

FYI, the images have descriptions in the web site data. The Ch3 one is named introarea, so its something similar to Ch3. The Ch4 noelle pic has nothing of use (just names Noelleflashlight I think). The one with the little guy climbing states its a cup, so no mystery there.

I was trying to find out if there is any nonary meaning for way to long. Also I find it weird that people think the letter is from Asriel to Chara. It would make sense that Asriel wrote it, but why would they write a letter to Chara and talk about them in third person instead of second person.

@@Lysvsyl maybe ‘to chara’ isn’t quote the right phrasing, but more like about Chara. Not to mention in poetry it’s not uncommon for a poem about/to someone to be in the third person so other people can still enjoy it. I believe a lot of old British poetry that was like a guy talking about a lady he loves would do this.

@@browniefox7218 I guess that makes sense. I just don't see Asriel sending a letter like that to Chara. To me it just doesn't read like a letter addressed to them for no reason. It doesn't really compliment Chara or inform them about anything. It reads more like a school assignment, a blog post, or something that has never been intended to be sent.
