I like the fact that the battle music is a piece of Finale. Finale is, in my opinion, the best music track in the game, and, also, this makes it seem as if the reason you can witness all of this is because Cody is telling you their story right during the battle with Flowey.

The "green is not a creative color" is probably an Easter egg to dont hug me im scared/dhmis. It's a mini horror series, and in one of the first episodes the Mac's come across a talking notepad, and for some reason everything is out to get the main character "Yellow guy" and since Yellow guy liked the color green that prompted the notepad to say "green is not a creative color".
