But if you had to choose between family, someone you’ve known your entire life, and someone you’ve only known a few years, you’d have to pick family right? Because if you’ve known someone your entire life, you can tell when they are lying. And as sans stated in the video "Oh so I’m not your brother anymore" I guess it was sorta true. Because sans and papyrus are adults, papyrus being slightly younger, so papyrus should’ve had enough time to know when sans is lying or telling the truth.

@@spade9453 true, true. But did you ever think that they grew tired of genocide? They still wanna see Sans suffer, but they wanna do it differently to make it worse. It’s worse thenlosing everyone you cared for forever, it losing everyone you cared for slowly till you break worse than Dust. Only having some of you, feeling like the rest is missing, not just all of it. And if you think about it, losing all you family and friends quickly is less painful than losing them slowly, day by day. What Frisk did was wait till Sans was finally happy, then broke him down again. Sent him into a spiral. One that they think will permanently hurt him. They know the one thing he could never lose is his brother. So instead of death, Frisk used *words* and made Papyrus yell at Sans. And if you’ve ever seen the ‘Is Sans Depressed’ video, then you know Papyrus is one of the only reasons Sans hasn’t killed himself yet. At least, that’s how I see it.
