+Anime Pianist Mynodex Thank you! Yeah, I think this was the first piece I've learned that required two parts to be played with one hand. Pretty tricky at first. Just checked out your channel. Keep up the good work!

+Robert Sanchez Thanks! That's too bad it's raining. But hey, Halloween candy gets huge discounts tomorrow so maybe you can get some on the cheap.

Im trying to play this song but when I get to the part where I have to do the left and right hand part with the right hand only I mess up... any tips?? Also I mess up trying to move the hands a lot but if I play it enough my hands move without any effort.

+Daniel Radhames Romero Brens I assume you mean the part where you add the melody to the left hand starting around 40 seconds in? Yeah, I had a bit of trouble learning that (and, in fact, have a hiccup or two with it in this recording). You're essentially playing two parts with one hand. Completely ignore the higher melody (played with the right hand starting around the 40 second mark) to start, and just focus on getting the left hand down. You've still got alternating eighth notes like in the beginning, and at first the melody part lines up with those, so it's just a matter of playing two notes at once and learning what the intervals between those two notes are. Until you get to the second D in the melody part, which is offset from the lower alternating eighth notes. At this point, try to think about it rhythmically, and play the second D halfway between the alternating notes (G# and Eb). Then the melody part goes back to lining up with the alternating eighth notes. It's the parts where the melody part is offset from those eighth notes that are tricky. Every other measure, the chord changes, so the alternating eighth notes will change, but the rhythmic pattern (which I think is the hard part) stays the same. Think of the rhythm as 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 1-2-3. 1. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 1-2-3. 1. And, of course, take it really slow at first and focus on accuracy and rhythm before speed. I don't know much musical terminology, so sorry if this is worded oddly, but it's the best advice I've got haha. Good luck!

I know that this is improv, but can you do some sort of tutorial on this cover? Please? :D

+Musicalblade4568 I'm sorry, but between college and other responsibilities, I'd prefer to use my spare time trying to learn and record new songs rather than make tutorials. However, here's a link to the sheets for the arrangement I based this improv on: musescore.com/user/5174461/scores/1321576 If you're not great at reading sheets (like me) here's a link to a synthesia video of the arrangement: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fabWiq2Ier1oiq8

Well, it sucks that you're so busy, but I understand. Thanks for the links, and good luck with your studies! What are you majoring in btw? :D

+Musicalblade4568 You're welcome and thanks :) Best of luck with your musical pursuits. I'm majoring in physics. Still not sure if I want to do engineering, education, or something completely unrelated haha.

+Catherine Nguyen I don't have sheets for this exact arrangement; a good chunk of it was improvised. I do have a link for an arrangement of this song by Stoh, which is what this improv was based on. ^_^ Here ya go!: musescore.com/user/5174461/scores/1321576
