Asgore is the saddest character for me. He wants all the monsters to be happy, but it doesn't work out. Because of his actions, all the monsters have been living in this underground dungeon for many years. If you restart the game after the death of Flowey, Asgore will kill himself, because all the hopes for him and all the monsters are just hopes...

I still dislike Asgore, not only he killed innocent kids (I know it's up to debate if any of them were innocent, cause I'm still confused on Chara and other of the souls.) But, he's continuously lying to his subjects who still sees him as their king... but, I get that he wants to give them *Hopes and Dreams* ... but damn... what a way... and it's kinda cowardly for him to off himself when *flowey's* not there to finish him off for the neutral ending...

I think Asgore handled the situation as he could, for example in genocide, knows literally all people are dead. And in pacifist just doesn't want to live, I think i would want to see a asgore with the six souls in a canon fight.
