Wanted to put more work into the video, but I ran out of time unfortunately (already an hour and a half late trying to get this out rip). Undertale was a huge game for me, not just for its story, music, and gameplay, but it was there for me when I felt my loneliest after my best friend started to slowly cut contact with me. Then I met people like SharaX and Kamex because of it, who are now some of my best friends. Sometimes it's not about the game itself, it's about the experiences you had with the game, both inside the game itself and outside in the real world. Undertale will always be in my top ten favorite games. This game is truly something special, mostly in it's music and characters, at least for me. I know that the fandom is garbage, but I want to ignore that and let the nostalgia come back. Happy birthday Undertale.

@@elita-2 more of a obvious one, I mean if the fandom was as much garbage as people assume by laziness undertale would have been forgotten by now or even worse would not had a chance to rise in the first place the problem is people always arguing on and on wich fanbase is the worst like it's a sick competition and to the extreme achieving to somewhat penalize the game for that by proxy ( I don't play this game it as a toxic fanbase, the perfect stupid excuse ) I found that deeply ironic that in the end they are as short sighted and somewhat toxic than those they criticize

@@dovhadark7108 Honestly, I have to agree. Every fandom has it's good and bad sides, and I've met a lot of good close friends through the community, and there's a lot of real gems. That being said, UNDERTALE is certainly no stranger to having a toxic side- But they're honestly a very loud minority. There are tons of great people in it as well. Same can be said for most any fandom.

Yes. I love it all. The guitars, the piano, and the melody. It all just took me back to 2015, when I played this game for the first time. I haven't felt like this about a game since early 2017 and Hollow Knight. So thank you Retro. Thank you for all of your work to produce music that we all love.

I think I speak for most of everyone when I say this game had a major part in our lives. We sat down to play a simple story based RPG... But we started to love them...the monsters. Toriel took us in, and showed us overwhelming kindness. Sans and papyrus were just lonely, and tired of being outcasts from the usual snowdin scene. Undyne just need a friend to help her get in a comfy spot to talk about her feelings and about her life. Alphys needed a boost in morale and strength. Asgore needed reassurance... We however...needed a way out of our normal reality...and in the process we made great friends. I met the community, so did you all. I'm glad to have met you all...everyone was and still is accepting...❤️

Yep. This game has been with me for 3 years. I can't believe it's 6 years old. This was a game that I learned about from friends tbh. We were just a couple of dorks into video games. We still are. But of all of them, Undertale stuck with me. None of them we're as attached as I am now. Happy 6th birthday Undertale. Even though I may be late, I'd like to say thank you.

I was extremely homesick my first year of college. Away from my family and everyone I had ever known- I felt like I was losing myself. Undertale came out around then, and gave me something to smile about- not to mention gave me material to practice drawing and writing with. Very soothing remix! Happy anniversary! ^ ^

I can relate to your experience somewhat, Retro. When Undertale first came out, I thought OH just another game blah blah yada yada, but then.... I began to play it. Though I haven't finished the Pacifist run (which is the only damn run I can do because of the feels the Geno run gave me when I watched someone get to Paps... oh god never do that run kids PLZ.) I've watched several playthroughs, and it made me feel welcomed, loved and accepted despite my problems. Now, I don't often tell random people this, but... I have a LOT of issues, and Undertale helped me feel like I was welcomed despite being labeled as 'weird' or a 'freak' by some people. I really love how this community will accept you knowing no-one is perfect and that no-one is absolutely without flaws. Thank you Undertale community for making me feel like I belong somewhere, and stay determined people.

Undertale is almost 6 years old... most people said "you will be missed" but I'd prefer to say "we will never forget you" because that's the truth. Toby fox made deltarune in Undertale's memory and he will continue to make deltarune in Undertale's memory. Undertale changed my life... and the whole world. Toby fox had the power to create so much emotion that inspired so many people some people say video games are stupid, but this isn't just a video game it's Undertale. Very good song , each time I hear this song it gives me a warm feeling like if I was being hugged by all my friends and family, that's the feeling you should be feeling from all of us , your song inspires , its emotional and it amazing. The end-of-game pacifist soundtracks like Good Night and Final Goodbye fills me with so much nostalgia and a distant sadness. Because I know I’ll never get that feeling of actually experiencing it for the first time back, and it makes me so sad that it has to end. It leaves me wanting more, like what happened to frisk? What happens next? But deltarune still having updates to this day kind of fills that, and makes me happy to say that even after time, we still haven’t left what has changed us so thoroughly.
