Ok ok, so I know lot's of you are going to get mad at me for this, but Papyrus, WOULD NEVER stop thinking about himself. Paps is selfish, he just is. He's selfish, and cute and loving. He is also selfless. But he would never forget to take care of himself because someone he loved was hurting. That's just not the kind of person he is. He's an adorable narcissist that doesn't understand not taking care of himself. He LOVES sans so much, but if him and sans were hungry and Pap found food, he would totally eat for himself, of course he would bring some to sans, but it wouln't be "Here I found some food, you eat frist and then I'll eat what you don't." It would be "Here I found some food, this is mine and this is yours." He would devide it up euqaly and there is NOTHING wrong with that. I'm just saying that sans is the one that is completely selfless, to the point that is is harmful to him, and Papyrus isn't. He's selfless sure, but if it started to hurt him he would stop and go, nope I don't deserve to hurt for someone elses sake, I need to take care of me first. And that is a pretty healthy way to deal with a situation like that, sans deals with it veary unhealthily, and my bro Pa has his priorities in check and is taking care of himself. I just think people forget sometimes that he IS a narssist because they always make him selfless to the point of it being damaging for him mentaly. I am NOT however saying that Papyrus wouldn't stop a bus with his body to save someone though because he would totally do that. He's reackless and would throw himself into harms way to protect someone weaker than him, he just would be so on top of his mental health that he wouldn't push himself to the point of hiding his emotions from sans, he would talk to someone, and get help. And yes I do realise he talkes to Tori about it, but he would never let it get that far.
