yeah, and alphys and mettaton are mentioned to exist too (they kinda have to, for flowey to) …this is just some theory shit, but since chara fell into the underground in 201X (and if this is the 2010s) and Frisk does not seem to be from the far future, there probably wasn’t actually THAT much time between humans falling down. come to think of it, there were missing people/person that clover were looking for there, so maybe another one fell just before them? (or died on the mountain normally lmao)

Yeah, I also wish they made its existence clearer. Maybe Martlet saying something like "...and we could also chat on the way there, if you like!" when we meet her in the Dunes. The TALK option brings up so many cool little titbits of info about Martlet and Ceroba.

6:10 You know, I was wondering where the fanfic _"Cover Up The Footprints"_ got its inspiration for some of Ceroba and Kanako's interactions, both during their reunion in the Lab and when tucking her into bed back at the house. Their dialogue came across as too specific to just be fan interpretation. So I was pleasantly surprised to see Ceroba go more into detail here with Kanako's personality and her relationship with her daughter! Family tragedy is such an engaging trope, why must it rend my heart like this...?

I mean, he did have feelings for her before Ceroba married Chujin. He was devastated at first but learnt to let it go, he is still loyal to her and love her as a best friend.
