i just realised i failed a geno route on normal undertale when i first tried and on undertale yellow when i first tried. normal undertale i didn’t spare, but i didn’t actively grind, and only realised something was up when i got to the undyne fight. undertale yellow i grinded enemies, but didn’t realise there’s different enemies for each room, and i didn’t realise anything was up until i met starlo, which is pretty much the same % through the game as i was in undertale. also, both times were “this doesn’t look like it would lead up to the epic fight i saw”. history repeats itself, i suppose

I feel like every boss monster would react differently to their own theme: Fever Pitch - Decibat would try to cover his ears from the loud music Forlorn - Dalv is probably doing some little dance like hand moves under his cloak Protocol - I believe that Martlet can dance to her own theme song perfectly, just nailing every move like it's no big deal.
