Mechanical is hella underrated, imo. The droning guitars, unnatural sounds, drum beat and overall vibe not only makes it feel hopeless and despairing, but genuinely powerful, intimidating, and industrial. It fits perfectly with the theme it's conveying, and it's tied with clay for me. Clay is much better, I feel, but for as amazing as it is, i feel as though it could have been more thematic. Anyways, nice video!

Paper is pretty under appreciated. The laughing and the weird sounds and voices along with the beat are meant to really creep you out. And I feel like it really does a good job of putting that sentiment. It perfectly matches the phase. Polygonal is pretty overrated, but it does also have good things. It weirdly has the tone of desperation. it also kind of matches the overall shock factor of the phase. Mechanical is very underrated as it does a good job with its music. Also, that particular guitar part is just absolutely amazing. Clay is just a 10/10. It has one of the best riffs in the entire game. I really want them to make an extended version. Patchworked sounds kind of like a circus. I think it matches pretty well, but it just kind of makes me laugh when I hear it. Organic is just.. a heart beating along with a slightly unsettling background beat. It is not that much in terms of music, but it does a good job at being unsettling.

I like that part; it really captures the eerieness of the phase as the low notes drone from one headphone to the other, and back again. Really goes to show how much effort the UTY team put into the game, especially the entire flowey fight.

For the previous two songs(polygonal and patchworked), I commented on how they fit. Organic, meanwhile, has a value to me that I can only explain with: it's the first specimen song I listened to. For the other two, I don't care about them along with the phases themselves. Organic, before I listened to the other specimen songs, was #1 in my ranking. Now that I've analyzed all the songs, I feel #4 is the highest spot to put organic in. And yes, the roasting was meant to kinda show how all the previous songs are really nothing compared to my top 3, in my opinion. I hope that answered your question, or at least gave you an idea of why I put organic where it is.
