Also, for people asking about roles. There aren't any roles in Undertoad.
This is the final version of the fight. Took my longer than excepted but its finally done. Thank you guys for supporting me while making this. Hope you enjoy it.

I like how it stays true to the death ambiguity. Even if you kill him before he can leave the screen, he still had 1 life left, and while that doesn't tend to mean life in Mario games, there are some platformers where your life counter is extra lives and when it hits 0 that's your last try.

Easily the strongest AU version of sans. 3 lives, ability to both slow you down and deal damage overtime, double cherry, and the fact that he doesn’t rely on karmic retribution (a fact everyone seems to ignore when discussing sans strength) make Mario incredibly strong.

This is fascinating. It seems like a shitty fan game on the surface, probably made by some 15 year old, but when you actually play it, it has original music, it even changes music for every life AND death which is just stunning in the sense of, you never would expect it from a fan game, you wouldn’t think they’d go through the effort. It throws curveballs that you would never expect such as the lives, and the whole concept is just amazing entirely

Prince Haru (Many see him as secretly evil after he stole Peach from Mario via wedding plans in the 1986 Super Mario Anime.) 3. Link (He appeared as an easter egg in Mario Games & is in The Legend of Zelda Games) 4. Kirby (Also an easter egg & is from the Kirby Games) 5. Player (Agent 3, 4 , & 7 from Splatoon 1 & 2) (Mario was originally planned to appear in Splatoon, but it got scrapped.) 6. Tabuu (Super Smash Bros Subspace Emissary) 7. You know...I have seen it on other videos and it made me realize, I wish Luigi was sans, replace all sans lazyness with fear, make it where on a Genorun, Luigi wears an outfit that Mario made for him, the Mr. L outfit as a sign that he no longer has fears and that he wishes to be with his brother again. Because in most cases, Luigi is stronger then mario, Luigi has Lighting as a base power, and has access to all the power ups mario has. While I REALLY love this fight, I sometimes wonder.

i really like the use of the "revolutions" throughout the battle, it's clever how the older ones are in the beginning. now, i feel like determination mono is a little bit big, and the battle box as well. also, the font used for the names, health, and lv aren't determination mono, which i really don't like, but other than all that, this is really good. edit: some of mario's voices cut out (final smash audio) but it's still good.

I don't have much time, so I do around 2 or 3 trys a day at max. Otherwise, I probably would have beaten it already. And I think it's easier because the attacks are easy to memorise.

Lancer the sexy sans took me about an hour to beat my first time...this game has three phases, only gives you 4 items and most attacks if you make ANY mistake, it’s an instant death...in still stuck in phase 2 after 4 hours...

@@danielswartz6135 well thats true, but if you reach phase 3 and die the game saves and you can start in phase 3 and have all your items again. Phase 1 is not that hard, 2 is a bit harder but phase 3... that is the one phase that made me hate mario and rage quit. Sans took me longer, because the game doesn't save itself and if your stuck (like in the mario battle) it's an instnt death. + I didn't know back than that the pie heals you fully and used it up before sans.

The game is awesome, but i just got an idea while watching this, if you or anyone else want to expand this game to where mario has 5 lives and the player has 7-8 items then i think phase 4 should have double cherry fire mario with phase 2 and phase 3 combined attacks. and phase 5 should have mario get a star and puts you through a gauntlet of attacks that 1 shot you with phase 1 difficulty, and to get past it you have to survive for 45 seconds. mario's star power runs out and you get the final shot on him. the reason i cant do this is because i have no game making experience. And this game is already awesome dont get me wrong, it was just an idea i had.

Now, this is a great fangame, but I think I noticed something that I the only one to notice. (stop reading now and skip this comment if you have less then 5 Minutes, this is a long comment) THE LIVES SYSTEM IS WRONG! now, if you don't understand me, then wait for a minute. In Mario games, lives(or 1-ups) are the playable character's way of being revived from death. at the beginning of most Mario games, you start out with 4 (or 3, depending on the game). However, from this point onwards, we MUST stop referring to these as "lives", and start referring to them as "1-ups". Why? For one reason: THE COUNTER REACHES 0! What does this mean? Well, let us look to these as "lives." At 0 lives, Mario should be dead. Think about it. at 0 lives, Mario has no life left in him. He should be dead. However, if we look at these as "1-ups", then Mario's life looks a little less grim. If Mario has no 1-ups left, then that doesn't mean that he can't live anymore. it just means that he can't be revived anymore. less grim then dying immediately, though. so, the lives system in-game is wrong. Still a great fangame, though.
