The discriminatory practice of "redlining" properties may have officially ended eight decades ago, but federal data and stories from coast-to-coast outline continued entrenched bias in the way properties are valued.

you don't fight violations of the law by adding more violations of the law. what you do is abolish those practices. 1. the original case in this story is a weak argument, we dont know if those maps of green and red is valid maps actually used or just drawn up by a random idiot with intent to slander and libel. 2. there is plenty of clear cut cases of discrimination that are still ignored and not yet abolished, like affirmative action, AND bearu of indian affairs, and government agencies like the EDD in california handing out millions on a regular basis with the sole purpose as stated is to boost programs for tribal people only, exluding all others, this is in EDD'S own stated words. usa treasury is funding. no one speaks up about it, unfairness in big ways runs rampant. and yet this video is making a big deal about a frivoulous case without sufficient evidence.

This is extremely incorrect. I’m a local who is very familiar with this case as it has been covered for many months prior to this interview. 1) The first appraiser made MULTIPLE mistakes which caused his appraisal amount to be lower than market value. Beyond the MISTAKES, there were things that were banality intentional. Once the appraiser was made aware, he refused to make edits. Then charged Mr Horton for another appraisal, which was at a later period of time that was detrimental in many ways. Interest rates went up, and many other things occurred. 2) there is A LOT of evidence not mentioned in this segment. There are emails of stonewalling, refusal, etc. Additionally, like mentioned before, some of these items showed intent. The case is actually a slam dunk, and they’ve begun discussing settlement amounts lol. These type of cases don’t get filed in federal court frivolously. 3) Albeit your other examples may be true, they are completely irrelevant to what’s happening and what’s being discussed on how to address the redlining/home appraisal business.
