I met Oleg Cassini in 1997 and he autographed my program at the fragrance day event I was at. I still have the program and I can tell you he was very charming and handsome at that time, in his eighties. He even put a heart and an arrow drawing with my name. Needless to say as he was talking to me, I was starstruck. 🤩

Love the Fitzpatrick glass. I can't say I'm surprised about it being undervalued by the seller ($50 omg!!). I find signed blown glass at the thrift stores often. Always amazed when it survives the journey without damage. This is the kind of find that makes thrifting such a thrill. Congratulations of the awesome score!!

Don't know much about glassware, like everything else, but that pink glassware, I would have grabbed up in a heartbeat 💓 for a class item discussion and would never resell it despite the color in a bachelor household. Reminds me of an RCA Victrola Speaker Horn in the ole decorative hand painted days.

I have a piece of Eskimo art from the 1950’s that my mum bought in the 50’s. It is signed and has the artists registration number on it. I wish I could find out what it is worth. I wouldn’t have walked by the little bishop. I always gravitate to jewellery at sales. I have gotten a pair of diamond earrings for 25 cents.
