I’m 65, and my sister got the Chrissy doll for Christmas….because it was also her birthday (and her name is Christina). But my mom called me Chrissy because my hair grew so fast! Still does!

I still remember the song from the Crissy commercial. My brother's name is Chris and we used to tease him with the song. "Beautiful Crissy has beautiful hair that grows and grows and grows." Poor kid!

Hi DR Lori, great video .Loved the mix of things you showed. I don't remember a chrissy doll in England, but do remember having a doll named Tressy.She was about the same size as Barbie & a few others.She had brown hair & you turned a little key in her back and then Tressys hair would grow.Then she would get a trim from me 😆

Dr. Lori, I loved this episode. So many things hit home for me. I had a little hobnail amberina glass the size that could hold a votive candle. I am lucky to have pink and green depression glass that belonged to my great grandparents! While I had GI Joe, several girls I knew and went to school with had the Crissy doll! I have a full set of my grandparents shiny bright ornaments! Thank you for all you do, and I loved this episode!!
