Grand blue manga is one of the best I have ever read and I don't really dive a F about people complaing about things like Kohei being attracted to little sisters but I will agree that the Retrieving The passport arc was very uncomfortable to read 😣. It was hilarious but *really* *really* uncomfortable.

The mc and his two cousins aren’t related by blood, the mc’s dad was adopted and his two cousins’ parents are adopted siblings. So that’s why kitahara doesn’t feel that much shame when he’s thinking about those two in a lewd way.

FYI: Japanese culture doesn't have any issues with cousins getting it on as long as they aren't too closely related (i.e., not first cousins; not sure exactly where they draw the line, though.) So Iori banging Chisa isn't supposed to be an issue for the viewer.

Iori’s father is am adopted brother of Nanaka’s and Chisa’s mother or father. So they are basically part of the family. But it’s possible they can become lovers. I’m reading the manga and is way funnier that the anime’s first season.
