UNDERWATER PHENOMENA: Halocline vs Hydrogen Sulfide

The underwater phenomena caused by the hydrogen sulfide gas and halocline can be observed in in some particular cenotes in Tulum, here in Mexico! The cenote Angelita and the cenote Pit are the best places to observe the hydrogen sulfide fog. Other caves like cenote Tajma ha are famous for the halocline!
Both the hydrogen sulphide and the halocline can resemble an underwater lake... but the first creates a thick fog, where the second is defined by a clear layer of salt water.
