Even in a sexually oriented film like Fifthy Shades of Grey (I haven't watched), the male guy seemed more interesting than the female lead. Serene just gave you more confident than Michael. Another good written female characters are Wonder Woman and Harley Quinn from Suicide Squad.

The stunt double actually fell from 11 feet up to make that landing with only a line harness supporting her in case she fell and to help her re-stand. But by all accounts she really f*cked one of her hamstrings performing the stunt because she wasn't supposed to squat quite so far down before the line slowed her.

My all time favorite fight scene surprises most when I tell it. It's not against any of the main antagonists, no big boss type fight. It's the short but awesome fight scene against the cops in the woods. I love the gun play and all, but nothing is more boss to me than taking out armed enemies with your frikken hands and feet ( and throws ! ). It also is a big favorite because it shows some of the underrated powers of the vampire : The jump / landing from huge heights and the strength is seen often, but you don't really get to see the celerity ( aka haste which is the incrredibly fast moving ) and durability ( tanks a frikken shotgun point blank to the gut ) too much. This scene has all of that. 2:50 - 3:19

We love Selene because she's a great fighter, but she's much more than that. She's smart. She's the one who discovered the Lycan UV bullets and that Lucien was still alive, and she passed that information on to the Elders. That's what got her in trouble. They wanted her dead because she was too smart and figured out their treachery. ;-)

U see wat i like a about underworld vamps they didnt need to move like stupid blurs all over the place like tvd and true blood or twilight to show off their speed . They didnt need to overexaggerate it try to make the vamps look like their on fastforward to show of superspeed . The just did it in simple subtle was like make them move so fast its like she teleport or dodgeing bullets or simpel jumping . Like wonderwoman yea she is superfast and can snatch bullets from the air but no need for stupid bluring to exaggerate speed and glamour us to thinks theyr anything to real speedster that still dont do that crap but are way faster. And i have seen people so caught up with tvd and true blood vamps speed they the ignore what real speed feats are. In true blood the so call superfast vamps could stop a suicide bomber that announce his self while hancock he easily cut that guys hand off before he could do a thing and no need to blur all over the place. So yea selene can totally kick klaus and eric northmans ass.

But klauses speed is still not on their lvl hes just superhuman im pretty sure selene ultraviolet and other superhumans can easily keep up with them . Cause inconsistencies or not i seen all their feats barely even close to what those superhuman can handle.or real speedsters. Hell xena has literally caught 3 arrow and one with her teeth.

cam george oh my god are you not understanding the point that first off the vampires in all the shows are super different. And I legit have no problem with the blue affect. It works perfectly fine portraying speed but also needing or wanting to still show the character in the scene. In underworld Selene mostly fights with guns and doesn’t need speed where as in TVD or TB they mostly fight hand to hand or with melee weapons. And there is no way Selene would kill Klaus who is the original vampire werewolf hybrid in the show and can only be killed by the white oak stake which in that world is rare/extinct where as klaus could kill Selene multiple ways. U legit just can’t compare them cause the vampire r pretty unique
