Its not often that an adventure scares me, but last winter one particular adventure did exactly that. Since that trip, I have not had the courage to go back and redeem myself, but I finally got my chance. I did have to cancel my larger planned trip, but I will absolutely be doing that one next summer. The ocean can be incredibly turbulent leaving out of Bella Coola, so you have to carefully select your times to be on the ocean. I knew I would be able to make my way at least to the hot springs, where I had my disastrous trip last year, and let me tell you I feel so so much better after the success of this visit.
These are my absolute favourite hot springs in BC, and I cant wait to go back and enjoy them some more, and hopefully get the opportunity to stay a few days. On my trip last year, the weather was quite cold and I saw steam coming from the trees. Upon investigation, I discovered there was another spring that has not yet been developed. The water coming from that source is very hot, so you would be able to make a really awesome large pool there to soak in. I hope that I get the opportunity to be the one to make that.
Finally, to top off my trip, I found dolphins in the exact place as they were last year. Were they the same dolphins? I don't know, but I like to believe that they are.
The great thing about these springs, is that they are boat access only and I have this awesome boat to get there. If you're in the market for a 10 outa 10 adventure boat, I have just the thing for you:

Dustin I’m from Miami Florida, I was boating in Biscayne Bay when the steering broke and threw me out of the front of the boat. Well, the boat ran me over and cut me from under my left arm all the way down my back it took out my left hip and cut my left foot off. When that happened the boat kept circling me until the marine patrol lassoed the motor (175 Evinrude). After four months in the hospital and seven operations, I lived to tell about it. You are absolutely correct you can change your life in a split second. When I fully recovered I went and bought a boat. The question I have for you is, do you carry an extra prop and shear pin? P.S I was being safe that day and I always practice safe boating and my boat has a kill switch. In 1991 they weren’t widely used, now it’s the law. Stay safe and stay healthy, always watching from Panama City Florida USA. 🇺🇸

Ahhh! So glad I found this video, I've watched so many others but missed this. Always when I watch your videos, I can be having a really tough day and that all changes instantly, you put me in such a great mood. Thank you always for your positive vibes. Those dolphins knew you were in trouble, without a doubt. They are so intelligent and intuitive...something you needed that day. Really glad you made it out last time from this place, otherwise we wouldn't have had more awesome videos to watch. Stay strong, stay as brave as you are.

My favorite movie you have made has been your worst nightmare. Only because despite all of what you went through the dolphins came to see you to safety. When you started talking about your experience last time at the hotsprings. All I could hear was your singing to the dolphins from your last time there. Thank goodness you made it out and I'm proud of you for heading back. Thank you for sharing your adventures. Sending loads of light and love.
