I love how calm and pleasant all the presenters and narrators of Japan-Guide are.

Thanks for showcasing lesser known Japan! This is a godsend for someone who's been there multiple times and is running out of ideas. The Arashiyama bamboo forest's atmospheric ambience has all but been destroyed by the uncontrolled number of tourists. I'm putting the Wakayama bamboo forest on my list now❤

I lived in Tochigi for 6 years. They were the best 6 years of my life. So nice to watch this video. I'm going back in 3 weeks after 10 years of being away. I heard things have changed a lot, though...

Thank you for sharing this amazing trip of Tochigi! I’ve been looking for so many videos of this prefecture. I’m part Japanese and I have direct ancestry in Tochigi. I would love to explore there in the future ❤

How the heck did you do this with out speaking japanes ? . There is no way i going to get there with my english

Who's to say he didn't? Japanese will be helpful in more remote areas but not necessary in Major Cities. I've been 4 times with practicing in between. Get on a plane.... you'll thank me later.

It's surprisingly easy to navigate Japan without speaking Japanese. Google maps works amazingly there so you can just follow that if you need to. And never underestimate how well just pointing can work. It is a really good idea to learn some basic Japanese to be polite. But I can honestly say my Japanese is garbage but I've been to some pretty remote places there.

@@furui5117 i shall remeber that google maps, i use that in Austria ( Europe) but i wasn,t sure that it wil work over there as well
