I'm pretty upset that clinching got taken out of the game and on top of that there's no proper defensive system to block shots. There should also be a option to set the minutes for Rounds whenever you're playing career mode for men or women. As for online play the fundamental mechanics are broken and need to be fixed

I've had this game for almost 2 years. Best tips I can give are...use the slip mechanic by pressing in L3 and flick in direction that you want to slip. Cut corners/angles using RB and direction you want to cut angle. Do not use button controls online!!!!!!! This game has actual total punch control with the analog stick. you can aim your punches (I dont see anyone doing this for some reason). Take a knee if you believe you're going to get knocked down by pressing RB+down on dpad. Use push mechanic to prevent ko while dazed. Peace, cya in the ring

There was already a video on that last week. Fight Night wont come out until after UFC 6, which plans on release next year. Its predicted Fight Night wont be out until 2026-27. Undisputed will be the only licensed boxing game for at least the next 2 years. Lets just hope updates fix the problems.

Apparently there will be an update in December which is bs an all but let's hope it fixes that punch system bullshit.Also I wouldn't recommend playing online because I think it's the only mode that's not good about this game right now I think in my opinion career mode is better than online I haven't tried online after many people kept saying it's not worth playing right now so I feel like career mode is the only thing that's good about this game to be honest.

i have 300 hours with this game and i follow the game progress since it was called esbc and i garantee that the game is fun plus the devs always listen the community but they are a small team so takes long to fix the problems but they been fixing many things that we asked they will launch a patch mid december to fix online/stamina/power punches issues etc i bet you will play this again and get addicted when you get better and they fix the problems

EA will be looking at the sales if this game, but they will also look at the disappointment and I think they'll give the fans a new fight night because if undisputed fails EA will know a new fight night will reel the boxing fans in and because it's EA they know punching and desync won't be a problem.... EA can learnt alot from undisputed good and bad

There's bugs. A lot of them and this game will need to bring out many updates to iron them out. But.. my opinion on this has changed when I've started playing on pro mode, I'm still sht but this game is technical and requires a lot from you to master it. This makes FNC look very arcade, there's along way to go. So far it's 5/10 because of the bugs. Has so much potential. Let's hope the December update is good

bro, when you said prizefighter might be better than this, i thought i was the only one with that same thought lmao. We think alike here, FNC and FNR3 are the closest to a real boxing game. I replayed prizefighter, and despite the awful hit detection, the way the fighters and punches are controlled actually feel more responsive. you slip punches, dodge effectively, counter punch at angles with ease. Play it again and you'll feel a vast difference, even if the game messy in its own way for some weird reason it feels and plays better than this shit. And the overall presentation oozes boxing, way better than this stalemate of a game.

No but that's a good idea. Ultimately you want to land head shots. The judges prioritize head shots over body for some reason in FNC

My refund will definitely stay in stated in the meantime. I bought it right before the corner of its official release date, had played it, had extreme buyers remorse and I did infact hit that refund button. ESBC seemed like it was on one, and Undisputed was on too many, I remember they said "different name, same game" but I can't really tell. I think it’s pretty good. The mechanics and movement is a tad bit slower than fight night. Once you get used to the timing everything else falls into place. The game does have its flaws but I don’t think it’s that bad. It’s mainly the mechanics that differ, at least imo. The way you started boxing him the second round you were doing fine.

I made a comment from other channel but I had to make this comment from my indie game channel. I'm an aspiring indie dev, been deving a few years but nothing major released. I like to breakdown gameplay mechanics and understand them or recreate them in Unreal Engine. I'm tired of hearing that the footwork in this game is good or better than fight night. It really is nothing but just regular movement with fancy animations and no gameplay functionality or purpose. It could easily be recreated for those reasons. I also box IRL so I can emphasize it again how the footwork in this game adds nothing to the gameplay. There is no lead foot placement against southpaws. No inside or outside pivots to create angles. And despite how "fluid" it looks, there are technical errors that you'll notice if you're an enthusiast. Boxers having their feet crossed, feet on the same line or side by side which should cause balance issues, moving with the wrong foot first (causing crossing which could be fine if you pivot after to make an angle), and so forth. But it doesn't matter because like I said in the earlier paragraph, you're just walking around no matter how fancy it looks. PROOF --> I've never heard anyone say while playing this game, "I'm gonna take a step here because XXX has a walking animation that will allow me to step wide to avoid his jab as well pivot into a check hook to circle off the ropes and get a better angle to get to the side of his guard." That's a problem with all boxing games though not just Undisputed. No boxing game to my knowledge has really gotten the footwork aspect of boxing. The Hajime PS2 games kind of have this as you can get to the opponents side but the gameplay isn't polished enough. But the rant is over now XD and shoutout to anyone who finished reading it. I'm just tired of the footwork narrative with this game when its really just basic walking/movement.
