Happy to have a new boxing game after so long, but just played for 2 hours (deluxe edition) and the game still needs a LOT of polish and refinement in the core systems (tracking, impact, responsiveness etc). Putting aside the fact it’s a great achievement for an indie studio, it’s priced as AAA and in that regard is currently a 6/10. Really hope we see a lot of patches drop from now till Christmas to keep improving things.

I agree with you. Apart from missing a massive amount of fighters. Mayweather, Miguel Cotto, Pacman, Mike Tyson etc… the commentators always say the same thing on EVERY fight and the responsiveness needs to be improved. Like you said it is priced like a AAA if it were $40 I wouldn’t mind at all.

You guys nailed it ! I love this game. Career mode is perfectly minimalistic. (didn't want fight camp mini games, they're fun the first time) Game looks amazing. Loving the different fighting styles having their own perks. Amazing. Loving the Slugger ! I know you guys will fix: Online play. I was on the fence about purchasing this game because it didn’t look like it had the quality I was hoping for. Well I bought it yesterday and played it for about 4 hours , I love the game. The gameplay is great and very addicting. It moves a lot more fluid than I thought also I like how you need to fight smart, move , pivot , throw logical punches in order to be successful. The game is so much fun Gameplay aside there still needs to be updates in fixing issues and also adding more depth to the overall boxing experience. The ring announcers need work , they say things that often don’t fully relate to what’s happening currently in the match , and same goes for your team in the corner. The judge scorecards also I think should be tweaked, it just seems something is a bit off with how they are scoring the rounds . Hopefully this game continues to receive updates/upgrades and that this company is fully committed to keep building on this current form. But I do love the gameplay and I would definitely recommend buying it

game for me is a 8/10 from what i’ve played today. the freezing/disconnecting issue needs to be fixed soon, mid way through a fight the match freezes at the end of a random round which is annoying. another thing is stamina neeeds to be fixed, throwing 1000000 heavy punches a fight and by the last round i still have almost maxed stamina. i don’t see why the game is getting so much hate, no game is gonna come out first day and be game of the year worthy.

It’s a good game. It’s an upgrade from the early access on pc BUT the career mode is so bare bones and unless you are just getting the game to play online or your a content creator I can see the game getting stale within two months if there’s no major updates to the game. They did do a great job with listening to the community and making the needed adjustments before launching. So hopefully that continues.
