I think Paul isn’t quite right in saying Luka and Kyrie aren’t playing great. They are. They are open minded to do what’s necessary to win, and not starve their teammates in order to do so. The way these playoffs are being refereed and defenses are collapsing the paint when Luka or Kyrie think of touching the ball, it’s far better if they don’t make desperate drives risking injury if it’s not super close 4th quarter and no one is hot for that night. Especially since Lou Dort is playing like he wants to hurt someone.

Carlisle benched in the PO for pete's sake, when they finally saw what he could become the FO bumbled his contract.. and Dirk was in his final season on hobbled legs Luka's rookie season.. now that Luka and Kyrie have figured out how to work with/off each other you can see that this team is scary.. if Kyrie doesn't miss 20+ games this year, Dallas is a top 3 seed.. see how they finished the year? 16-4 in their final 20 and sat Luka and Kyrie the last two games because their seeding was already locked in place.. The only reason OKC even got the 1 seed was because they basically played a G League team in the final regular season game..
