We’ve been, us true boxing fans, have been craving a boxing game for over a decade. EA decided to allocate their funds to the UFC & leave us high and dry. Here comes a small studio out of nowhere to try & fill that void that we’ve been missing. I’m supporting & purchasing this game just strength off that alone. I don’t care about any shortcomings as long as it’s playable & they continue to support the game.

Thank you. I still play Fight Night Champion on PS3 with an updated variety of old and new created fighters. I'm only buying standard addition to support the game. I truly hope in Career mode they at least let you move up and down in weight classes if you want. I think that's a simple add.

This will either show EA that they were wrong to ignore the fight night franchise or prove that they made the right decision not to and stick with UFC. Unfortunately I think they made the right decision. I can’t imagine what they would be paying in licensing fees for both. I’m loving this game. Haven’t played ranked yet. Started off losing a lot in quick matches. But once I’ve got used to the physics, working my combinations and defending better, now the wins are flowing. Went from 3-10 to 22-15.

I downloaded the beta months ago and tried it a few times but man it unfortunately just isn’t a good game. The first videos I saw of the game looked soo good and I was sooo hyped as I was a huge fan of all the fight night games. But man fight night champion played even better than undisputed, I wanted to love it I really did. But it just didn’t have good gameplay unfortunately. I’ll try it again now that’s it’s officially released but what I played so far wasn’t great

Its a really really fun game! Fans will grow to love it. It takes some practice and its harder and more intricate than fight night, but its very rewarding when you get good . I think updates will make it even BETTER, if you are a boxing fan and a gamer this is definitely a buy on release.

I just got it on the PS5 I had it on PC and the leap from the recent update is astounding when it released on PS5. It's a time killer. Definitely challenging. It's a fun game all around. It does need a bit more polishing. But from where it started to now it has gotten 10x better.

Yep, and I think Knockout Kings had the best career mode. It was really fun try to rise to the top and take out the greats and see who comes up the ranks to challenge you. Plus, it had Demsey and Marciano in the base game. It is sad how much more fin the games were before online multiplayer and the corporate greed.

I have been craving another boxing game since Fight Night Champion. Is the game perfect? No but it's not awful either. I'm sure the game will be updated with patch updates in the future. Training minigames are repetitive at best and annoying as hell at worst. I’m glad they left them out. Round 4’s training minigames were damn near impossible to get maximum points on.

Most realistic boxing game ever made with a higher skill ceiling than any modern fighting game. Buy this game if you like boxing and want to support the devs, its their first game and its really fucking good.

Something seems off. Knockouts don't seem exciting enough. Guys kinda fall down and slow mo shows hands missing the opponent. Glad there's a studio out there looking to push a new boxing game tho...long overdue

Exactly! Havin no referee totally kills the immersion for me and I hate that casual fans. Hate on people like us who have been waiting on a boxing game for years, knowing that this may be the same game that we played for years yet no referee to make the immersion even greater. Referees play a huge part in boxing and to leave it out in the claim that you are a authentic boxing simulation game is just diabolical I purchased the game early access when they actually had a referee in there, but I knew once they added Richard steel I knew it was gonna be a problem and guess what Lord behold it was a problem they took the referee out

After playing the game on PS5 for a few hours I’m impressed. The game is very difficult to play, it’s hard to land clean shots or just a repetitive jab at the least. It’s needs some work but i take back the negative feedback on the game. It’s decent. The did fairly well

Plus Points : - Finally a boxing game for main gaming platforms (pc & consoles) being made after more than a decade and we have an alternative to EA sports games - the devs actually care about the sport & fans, and they listen to the community, unlike EA. they still try to improve and make the game better - Simulation oriented, balanced gameplay, contrary to EA's fast paced, arcadey gameplay - A good pick for you if you are a boxing or combat sports fan, and you get what you see, its not scam like modern EA games - Has current era boxers, which is not available in any other boxing game (except for only Fury & AJ in UFC 4) Down Points : - Gameplay is clunky and animations dont look that great, still some issues with gameplay despite so many patches and fixes - Visuals looks like a mobile game and models look plastic, to be honest - You cant really do much with customization - Roster is limited and doesnt include names like Mike Tyson, Holyfield, Foreman, Pacquiao, Tank Davis, AJ etc - Seems unlikely that it will surpass Fight Night series

The game looks at bit undercooked as far as game modes and features go, like they ran out of development time and budget. Also, the gameplay looks slow and punches lack weight behind them (which is a problem the UFC games have as well, to be fair). This is gonna be a 'wait for a sale' for me.

Punches are actually better tbh, you just need better mechanics. Counter punches to excellent timing is actually rewarding based on official gameplay by other youtubers

At first I was complaining about undisputed but after giving it time and playing career mode I won't lie, glad I got it. Career mode is great, its realistic from knowing how to manage your fight career to train you fighter vs your opponents attributes. Still disappointed in the online though, almost everyone just spams power shots instead of making a real boxing match but you can get around that with skill.

I have the Delux version pre-ordered, but hearing that you can't punch while swaying is very disappointing.. That's a huge part of boxing. Hopefully they patch it in!
