We’ve been, us true boxing fans, have been craving a boxing game for over a decade. EA decided to allocate their funds to the UFC & leave us high and dry. Here comes a small studio out of nowhere to try & fill that void that we’ve been missing. I’m supporting & purchasing this game just strength off that alone. I don’t care about any shortcomings as long as it’s playable & they continue to support the game.

I downloaded the beta months ago and tried it a few times but man it unfortunately just isn’t a good game. The first videos I saw of the game looked soo good and I was sooo hyped as I was a huge fan of all the fight night games. But man fight night champion played even better than undisputed, I wanted to love it I really did. But it just didn’t have good gameplay unfortunately. I’ll try it again now that’s it’s officially released but what I played so far wasn’t great

This will either show EA that they were wrong to ignore the fight night franchise or prove that they made the right decision not to and stick with UFC. Unfortunately I think they made the right decision. I can’t imagine what they would be paying in licensing fees for both. Yep, and I think Knockout Kings had the best career mode. It was really fun try to rise to the top and take out the greats and see who comes up the ranks to challenge you. Exactly! Havin no referee totally kills the immersion for me and I hate that casual fans. Hate on people like us who have been waiting on a boxing game for years, knowing that this may be the same game that we played for years yet no referee to make the immersion even greater. Referees play a huge part in boxing and to leave it out in the claim that you are a authentic boxing simulation game is just diabolical I purchased the game early access when they actually had a referee in there, but I knew once they added Richard steel I knew it was gonna be a problem and guess what Lord behold it was a problem they took the referee out

The game looks at bit undercooked as far as game modes and features go, like they ran out of development time and budget. Also, the gameplay looks slow and punches lack weight behind them (which is a problem the UFC games have as well, to be fair). This is gonna be a 'wait for a sale' for me.

The last UFC game was the last in the contract. EA has confirmed a new fight night is next. Besides the mention of how long it’s been since a boxing game, FNC shouldn’t be mentioned when compared. FNC wasn’t that good and very arcade like. FYI, punches can and should get through a guard.

Bad news everyone, they didn't fix any of the issues plaguing early access. In fact, the only thing they slightly fixed is the hook spamming which is now replaced with power punch spamming. That combined with terrible network connections, ghost punches, last luster offline experience makes me disappointed this is the only boxing game we get and if it truly fails, it's the only one we're getting for a while.

After playing the game on PS5 for a few hours I’m impressed. The game is very difficult to play, it’s hard to land clean shots or just a repetitive jab at the least. It’s needs some work but i take back the negative feedback on the game. It’s decent. The did fairly well

Claiming to be an “authentic boxing simulation” without having a active referee in the ring, automatically deducts two points to whatever rating 👌🏽 I’m a boxer in real life, and it kills the immersion for me, especially when I had Earley access and I had to break up my own clenching 🤣
