After being ejected against the Detroit Pistons, LeBron James received a one game suspension yesterday for 'recklessly hitting' Isaiah Stewart. The LA Lakers will have to play without the King tonight as they take on the Knicks at Madison Square Garden. Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe discuss whether this changes their individual view of the incident, along with if he should have been suspended or not.

Not much of a bron fan, but I can tell you he didn't mean to hit him in the face. There was no, "bron looked him in the eyes, and decided to close fist hammer swing his arm.". He swung to hit Stewart's arm off him on the box out, but caught his head. The intent was to swing that hard, but it wasn't to catch him in the face. Still don't know how it went from them being face to face calm, to Stewart being a WWE character.

Hitting him in the face was an accident, but he intended to hit him regardless. It was a dirty play probably coming out of frustration to possibly losing to one of the worst teams in the nba right now. A suspension is well deserved for both of them. Come on Shannon. There has been multiple examples of Lebron “acting out of character”. That character isn’t violent, but we’ve seen him give up on his team multiple times throughout his career. That’s acting out of character.

Hitting the face with the fist was definitely intentional. Lebron actually had a clear view of where he's swinging before it actually connects. Blood and the Isaiah's reaction probably wasn't what Lebron thought would happen. (pretty naive if you ask me) Also, you see Isaiah getting increasingly more upset as he speaks with Lebron. We can't see Lebron's face at the moment to determine what kind of things Lebron said, but it doesn't seem like an apology.
